Also, this line from today's stream might put a halt to speculations of the Illinois team moving over to the Reworks (yes I know what Nemiro said was vague but still..)

What's the actual minute mark? I'm not sure the link picked up what you intended or it just went over my head.

My apologies, I forgot they edited the stream and so it actually is this line.

Yeah moving an ATS team from paid dlc to rework makes much less sense than the same or vice versa happening to an ETS2 team. We're only just maybe 60% across the continent in the first country of ATS right now. Meanwhile ETS2 has a much older map, and is frankly running out of new paid map areas without leaving the continent. Reworks are a focal point for the old and thoroughly mapped ETS2 while new expansions are the focal point for the younger and less mapped ATS.
The current map team balance in both games makes sense imo

I do wonder what will happen once ETS2 is "complete", which isn't too far off really.
Assuming a Going East remake is happening, then even if they expanded Turkey, for example, or things change enough for HoR to release (would probably need a refresh by that point at most), that doesn't provide enough work long-term for the current number of mappers.
They'd kinda have to move some mappers to the ATS team, right? Or start on something brand-new?
