That everyone conflates the daylight time zones with the standard ones proves, at least in part, that daylight saving time was a bad idea at best and making it permanent is even more so.

If this DST passes and I hope it does, that means some states on Eastern time will probably switch to central time. I know Indiana has discussed switching to central time if it does pass which would be great!

That story about the European Union is not the choice apparently of a lot of countries there who still support it, at least according to google....:) In the long run it would be better to leave it on Standard time if they are going to eliminate one of them.

I'm in the minority on this as I would prefer permanent standard time (i.e. high noon instead of high 1pm/13:00, so what most of Arizona has currently). I don't like it when it's dark in the mornings. I'm able to cope better with dark evenings. I know most people are the opposite though.

But if society just started their day 1 hour earlier, it would have the same effect on maintaining evening sunshine as permanent daylight savings...

^Lmao. Yeah it seems that way.

Its not about when we get the next reworks.....its what is the next reworks. That's the news people are waiting to see for ATS. We know everything in the works for ETS2, but not ATS.
