^Well technically, each state dlc comes as one whole. Its just that the reworks was doing things in phases because of size I suppose. But considering ATS only has 3 base map states, they can seriously treat them like paid maps. Now Route 66 made sense to phase it. California made sense because it was first and they didn't know what to expect. But now that the kinks are worked out on reworks, it does make sense for one whole. Arizona only needs 1/3 reworked now so that is great.

NM should follow the base map to finish its rebuild. Then its one too refreshing the older maps.

I fully expect Nevada to be done by the end of this year, it’s probably been in development since last year.

Total speculation by me, but potentially South Dakota in early fall, then maybe Nevada in winter. Timeline would seem to be possible.

Also good to essentially have confirmation Nevada will be out before consoles. Pretty much knew that before, but absolutely could not have original Nevada play any part in a 2027+ console release.

The non-obvious thing I hope remains is some of the Easter eggs near Area 51.

Yep could be feasible. Other than Vegas and Reno the state is quite empty and they already did Hoover Dam with route 66 so should be slightly quicker than reworking a state with multiple large cities.

@oldmanclippy Couldn't help but smile thinking of the meme you made of me while I set the four unlocated screenshots aside haha. So happy to finally see news on our next rework.

I cannot describe how satisfying it'll feel to delete every single surface street and company location on my map and be able to replace them with more accurate representations of the town. Roads that actually exist and actually connect up to other roads in recognizable ways... I could cry just thinking about it.

South Dakota added! Up-to-date blog photo locations for upcoming states also included.

Speaking of Vegas, I hope as many buildings as possible are able to be remade accurately, and SCS doesn’t have to cut essentially the whole strip due to copyright, which they are a bit more sensitive of these days, for understandable reasons.
