Honestly, I just thought to post this, but I am for one, disliking the 5700XE. It is a nice truck, but it feels too modern for me, well, the exterior feels too modern for me... And the right mirror blocks out a lot of vision from the right, especially when trying to make a left turn.

And I really like the 5700. It successfully combines the classic spirit and modern design.

To each their own. I have to confess I've been driving it less as of late, myself. It's a very nice truck, but not the truck for me. I'm probably going to go back to driving either the Mack Anthem or T680.

EDIT: Grammar

I've waited a long time for this truck. I'm in love with him. It has become my ultimate truck. The only ones that might be able to displace him are the Peterbilt 389 (if it gets redone) and the WS 4900.

I was not really a big fan of the 5700XE, but after driving it for a few thousand miles in ATS it's growing on me quite a lot, there are a few small things that annoy me with it but nothing serious, it's really well done.

Agreed, the truck is excellently made, but it’s not of my liking. I’d prefer the 57X.

Hopefully I'll get to try out the 5700 this weekend. I'm hoping it can replace my Cascadia though for open beta play at least. I doubt I'd go to it full time. I'm reallllly more concerned about seeing it in traffic. Hopefully before the year is out, it and the others will be there.

The exterior model of the truck is great, everything is done as it should be (detailed and very nice). The most striking thing is the interior of the 5700XE, it is done very nicely and for the first time the option to choose seats was used. What is missing is the option to purchase cups or thermoses. I hope that such an option will appear soon.

I have reviewed the truck on camera 0 very carefully and I am very satisfied with how the truck was made. I looked at the underside of the truck and I really like how detailed it was rendered.

The only thing that catches my eye is some of the bumper textures when you look closely (it was marked in red in the pictures).

I really like the paint job of "The Phantom" but as you can see in the photo the problem of paint resolution. I can't wait to see how SCS Software will increase the resolution of the paintwork (if it comes at all).

The sounds, unfortunately, I had to upload from Kriechbaum's mod. I hope that the trip from last year to record the sounds was not in vain.

As others have mentioned, the default camera position isn't great. But the adjustment feature let me find one that's quite comfortable for me. I can see all the mirrors from here, and I have a decent view of the road. The visibility isn't quite as good as the 49X and 57X, but that's expected from an older model.
