rookie_one wrote: 05 Aug 2022 12:08 For the eaton transmissions, they list "Eaton Fuller Manual 10- 13- 18-speed", so I suspect that the Eaton Fuller manual are available, but NOT the Ultrashift variants (and especially not the Endurant), but then again, that might change
Why would they include the Ultrashift or Endurant when they have the Detriot version for it instead. Hence why they didn't offer X-15's as powertrain options. Seems to be Detriot exclusive on this model apart from offering a crashbox transmission since Detriot don't have a option available for it.

@TruckerDog speaking of options will you include the twin rear stacks option at any point? I notice on the WS stream that model at twin rear stacks and apparently is offered as a option?

Because there is a demande for it ? (no joke, it's not rare for a freightliner cascadia to have a Detroit engine and a Eaton transmission)

Just like there would a be demand for a X-15 Cummins option for it but there isn't so I don't see your point about it in this case.

Thank you for looking into it!

I have one minor gripe with the 57X, but it was already mentioned that it's being addressed. The choice of transmissions.
In a world full of swift drivers, I'm an O/O.

As for the non-heated headlights, that's something to look at. From Western Star's website, while pictures of the real truck have them, the 3D model they got doesn't seem to have them. For me personally it is not exactly clear if there's a choice or not on that regard. I'll try to ask about it.
Cool, I'll be waiting for the patch :)

As said earlier, we never know, they might bring the X15 :p

But for eaton transmissions, it's not rare for those to be available for single-brand truck. Hell Mack is still having Eaton Transmissions available

When selecting the 240 gal fuel tank for the Western Star 57X, there is a question about the right-side fuel tank.

[ external image ]
If the 240 gal fuel tank is selected and the side skirt is installed, the right-side fuel cap seems to be blocked by the side skirt.

It is believed that the right-side fuel cap is not accessible in the current layout. Is this a bug?

[ external image ]
For Freightliner Cascadia of the same construction, the position of the right-side fuel cap changes to the rear when the 240 gal fuel tank is selected and the side skirt is installed.

For cascadia it seems both cap position is correct.

With side skirt installed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBxU3Ebfc10, you can see he is refueling at back of side skirt.

Without side skirt: https://www.truckpaper.com/listings/tru ... a&CTRY=usa, you can see fuel cap is at front

I can't find it for 57x
