That's not a 47X right? You can spec a 47X with a sleeper but I think that's just a 49X in the image.

If they do end up making dedicated heavy-haul missions/modules on separate 1:1 maps I'd be super happy but I think this is gonna be much smaller than that. Plus it'd be weird to have it Western-Star focused, although it's not unheard of to have sponsored game modes. Total War does Intel-sponsored experimental modes, for example. And of course we have Scania Truck Driving Simulator.

Not a tuning pack, not a new truck I don't think, not sure what this is about. Interesting.

Is not a new truck, it's the Power Hood for the 49X, a taller hood to allow space for a bigger radiator, is not that complicated.

It's probably just the power hood but it seems weird to do a teaser blog for a small 1.48 change. At least Western Star still seems to love working with SCS.

I said that in SCS General Discussion Thread and I will leave it on record here too, I believe that in addition to power hood, I believe that maybe they will develop a Demo like SCS did with New DAF in ETS2. Remember we had a map where we could test the truck playing via cloud. Maybe it's something related to that, but now with Western Star, because they mainly say at the end about "you might want to brace yourselves for an elevated heavy hauling experience that'll take your trucking adventures to uncharted territories."

Maybe Power Hood and some extra heavy haul thiggies on the side, that truck is becoming a Tuning Pack DLC in itself. :))

Too bad i don’t like that aircraft carrier of a chassis.
I have approximate knowledge of many things

That's only available for the Australian market... for now. The 4800 was already in a weird limbo, so not sure how it would fit nowadays.

If anything I think it's the heightened Power Hood option for the 49X.

I didnt like the long chassis either. I wound up doing a save edit and married the short chassis with a short sleeper. It actually looks like a normal truck. It seems to be a good do it all truck.

This was my thought as well. We have all the current legitimate WS trucks in the game now.............except the 4900.
