This is the shifter for the Eaton transmissions in ATS:
[ external image ]
Though on the 5700XE they would just use the same shifter paddle as the DT12
@dkasper00 Before OEMs really started pushing them with recent models they were extremely uncommon, and while the 5700XE is an aero truck, it's not really the kind of aero truck that most people would go with if they cared so much about fuel economy that they were rocking FlowBelows before they were widely accepted.

I love the truck, the dashboard is amazing. Sorry about English (how is it called?) but I really like the little column in the windshield, makes it unique.

Re: Western Star Trucks Discussion Thread
i think the new Western Star 5700XE is great, i looks very good and i also like the fact how many interior options it has, even the upholstery on the seats can be chosen, i wish this would become standard for all trucks in ats... it just simply has one of the most, if not the most amazing interior of all trucks in ats.
the only thing i dislike so far is the standard positioning of the drivers seat. so not a big deal so far.
i haven´t recognised any bugs so far i just noticed that the cupholders in the middle of the dashboard can´t be "used" not sure if it is meant to be that way or if it is missing.

In all trucks I want to be able to see most of the steering wheel when driving hence I almost always set the seat back, higher and then the viewing angle towards the bottom.
Else I am missing out on a lot of details and uniqueness of each.
Only a few trucks where it's fine from the get go like the Mercedes New Actros for example.

i totally hate interiors with wood details and not going to use it but its great to see new trucks being added, gj
Re: Western Star Trucks Discussion Thread
I don't think I've been more excited by a truck's release than the 5700XE's release. Such a gorgeous and unique truck, and SCS replicated it quite well. Sounds are meh, as per usual, but I can work with them.
Re: Western Star Trucks Discussion Thread
Pay attention to the color scheme and compare with the one in the game. There whole interior is red. Same with green and grey.
I don't understand why no one checked this

Until the W900 rework arrives, i'll be driving this brute. This interior, there's nothing like it in game, despite not liking aerodynamic trucks, this interior won me over.
