43,778,000 lbs for the imperial readers including myself lol
That’s awesome @Andre Santos
How hard is it to use blender to make the scs trailer into a spread axle?

@cwat89 It's not very difficult. I find it more complicated to configure Blender to be able to open scs files in it.
Re: Mileage bragging Thread
Yeah you're not lying there. I'm used to MPH and in ATS you can go 70+ (112 km/h) in most states, even 80 (129 km/h) in some, with California being the most painful at 55 (88 km/h). Then I started playing ETS2 and didn't give the 80 km/h limits much thought at first, until I did the math. That's only 50 MPH lol. It's like what the hell Europe? No wonder it takes so long to make a delivery. Germany at least allows 90 km/h (56 MPH). Wow, I'm happy just to be driving California speeds now xD. The maximum I've seen for trucks has been down near Turkey at 105 km/h (65 MPH). I don't get the rationale. Normal traffic is going much faster than that which makes passing slower vehicles a bit dangerous. Then you throw in all those damn toll ways (I'm looking at you France) and it can be painful at times.Andre Santos wrote: ↑21 Mar 2022 22:06@Reignman lol you're funny... Making miles on ATS is better than ETS2 because of the higher speed..
**spoiler alert - the rest of this rant is way off topic lol**
Why does Europe have to have different speed limits for interchange ramps? You're cruising down the highway at 80-90 but then they make you slow down to 60 (sometimes 40) to merge onto the next highway which is also 80-90 km/h. It makes no sense. I could understand if it were a sharp corner or something, but most aren't. And you get a speeding ticket if you don't comply. The US (ATS) doesn't do that, the interchange merge lanes are the same speed as the highway, which makes sense. At most they're going to have "recommended" speed limits (yellow signs) for sharper corners, but they're not enforceable so you won't get a ticket.
You don't need a set speed limit everywhere for everything, you can let the conditions dictate the speed limit. I would hope most drivers have enough common sense to know how fast they can/can't take a corner or ramp. If not, then maybe they need to make it part of drivers education before acquiring a license lol. I've gotten way more speeding tickets in ETS2 than ATS and it's because the speed limit changes for one thing or another every 2km.
I just took a 3 lane highway in Great Britain from Birmingham to Plymouth that went from 90 to 80 back to 90 about 6 different times within a span of about 100km, and for no discernable reason. There aren't any sharp corners, ramps, or urban areas. Just 3 lanes of flowing traffic the entire way. Then they had a speed camera at the beginning of all the 80 km/h zones, and they have absolutely no forgiveness, so you instantly get a ticket. I got 4 speeding tickets in that stretch alone because you don't see the change coming. You have to slam the brakes like the AI does to comply.
Maybe the constant changing makes sense in real life on a full scale map, but this "simulator" is 1/20th scale and the constant speed changing gives you a real headache. You barely get back up to speed and you have to slow down again. Someone needs to go through these highways and determine what makes sense for the 1/20th scale. I can even help with that. It's really bad in a lot of spots, like that road in northern Romania, it has a small town every 10km so the speed drops from 80 to 50 that often, and just for a brief second. You can't even get back to 80 by the time you hit the next one. I wouldn't care so much if there weren't cops and cameras everywhere instantly giving you a ticket. As I get more familiar with the bad areas I just turn traffic offenses off lol.

You guys are insane . Iam only on 500k on WoT, and that took me... since WoT came out. My goal is the 1mil.
Re: Mileage bragging Thread
Well well well, I might not be able to catch him in miles, but I got him in jobs completed and weight transported haha.
2045 jobs completed and 88m lbs transported (40m kg or 44,000t). I haul a lot of doubles and triples and make shorter trips though. Andre must like those cross country jobs xD. The nice easy routes from hwy 84 in Portland through Wyoming, and down 25 to Las Cruces, then back. I'm the dummy climbing the mountains in Colorado with an 80k pound triple full of empty pallets lol. When I'm not wasting time driving 50 MPH across Europe.

I really like taking the longer trips. I don't impose myself much with weight. Only mileage matters to me these days. I make a lot of trips from WA to NM and AZ, and vice versa. I always try to pick up the biggest loads.

Not sure how much of a brag this is but I've put 11,000 miles on the new International 9900i since it came out.

Depends on when it came out ... looks like a week before you posted.Carfreak200 wrote: ↑29 Mar 2022 05:03Not sure how much of a brag this is but I've put 11,000 miles on the new International 9900i since it came out.
This mad lad almost did 10k in a day once, while my personal best is still 7300, (13k for the weekend).
One of these days I'm going to buy a bed pan and go for the 24h World Record ... whatever that might be lol. Based on some estimates, someone could probably do 20-24k in one 24 hour period if they're not wasting a whole lot of time parking and loading. That would be like going back and forth between Bellingham and Hobbs 12 times in a row xD.
Re: Mileage bragging Thread
Holly cow. That's some driving, lol. 13k for the weekend. ATS is lucky if I get in 1,000 miles for the weekends which is the only time I play. I might get in 2-3 runs that total 1,000 total. I finally hit one of my preset goals on my original profile with my original truck. I'm just a notch over 350k now. That's big for me, lol.
My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.
