My wish is to be able to rework all models built prior to 2019 to a quality comparable to the current DAF 2021

At the same time, some players may have nostalgia and attachment for their old model as-is. I'm a proponent of adding instead of changing. Unless something is straight up wrong, but then it should happen within a very short time as well. Like gas fill hole on 57X that got fixed.

The simple attachment you may get from using a thing a long time, not a hard concept to understand, really. And players have revolted for less in other games. Not saying it would happen, but it's surely a component of decision making.

there is no attachment, the trucks wont be removed they will just be replaced with better quality ones and not the low poly 90s mesh they are now

You can only speak for yourself, as any other around here, like myself. And you don't know what they "will" or may do.

That said...

I'm for improving textures sure, but it stretches if they'd also reshape and/or reposition anything. Which a lot of you seem to complain most about when talking about improved models. How odd a hood or bumper is etc.

so where is the old DAF Xf105 pre 50k then ? i dont see it, SCS wont keep the old models, they will be trashed and replaced with new ones (hypothetically speaking ofc because a rework isnt announced by them)

and yes, you are pretty much the only one who wants to keep the old models, everybody else wants updated ones and especially accurate ones, all of them are everything but not accurate at all, especially with the addition of the TGX E6 it is cleary visible if one switches between the old and new TGX how bad it is, those trucks are 1:1 the same externally except for a different bumper but the old TGX is completely out of proportion

Same can be said about the Stralis, Actros MP3 (Which has the shape/curvature of it's front end completely wrong) and any other truck pre-Scania NG. And no, the Actros 4 is not a good model either... Just put it next to any other truck or hooked to a Krone trailer and you'll see how it is completely out of proportion (Same case as the FH4).
