Re: Next ETS2 truck speculation
@harishw8r I wouldn't FULLY say that. "rtt" can be Renault trucks tuning, so we have to wait and see.
Re: Next ETS2 truck speculation
Oh wait, didn’t think that possibility my bad.
I’m still skeptical about Magnum and Premium though.

Re: Next ETS2 truck speculation
With Renault Tuning DLC they could take the opportunity to make these "white" ...
... look like this one:
Note: All trucks have the same color in game settings. Seriously? YES

Re: Next ETS2 truck speculation
I hope the Renault tunning pack will include parts for Magnum and Premium, so that SCS can give these trucks a little love

Re: Next ETS2 truck speculation
We only chose the color of the "pigment", how it behave in the model depends on other questions. Even if it could be unrealistic in this specific example compared with those trucks IRL (don't know); it's something that happens IRL.
Re: Next ETS2 truck speculation
I'd also prefer to see the refreshed interior of the Renault Premium.
But this is already out of the realm of fantasy

I translate via Google Translate. Sometimes he does it badly. I beg understand and forgive.

Re: Next ETS2 truck speculation
thats not a refresh, that is just the dashboard used on the smaller trucks for distribution and the like and not on the bigger ones, like the Range T in the UK has the smaller dashboard then the Range T on mainland Europe

Re: Next ETS2 truck speculation
I hope for Renault Tuning Pack Renault Magnum will be slightly updated and improved as it was with Actros MP3 and DAF XF 105. This legendary truck deserves it. Also, I hope he gets the Magnum badge on the door and the engine power numbers.
Re: Next ETS2 truck speculation
To get back on the KamAZ-topic. Yes, russia has been introduced and will soon be released for ETS2, however SISU hasnt been implimented either when Scandinavia was introduced to ETS2, hasnt it? so go figure. And lets be honest, i doubt Mormon gets introduced once texas gets properly reeased within ATS. And probably the same issue with KamAZ is probably going to be why the Ford F-Max will ever hit ETS2: no EU-compliant Euro 6 Engines. (at least thats probably one of the reasons... others could be what kind of deal Ford TR wants in order to have their F-max put into ETS2 and whatnot.)
On the Topic with the old trucks: It would be a start at least if they'd just re-bake the old trucks, gather new textures, fix the materials, update them at least a bit looks-wise... (and fix that massive MASSIVE lifted wheelgap on the old scania trucks and resize the E5 MAN, would be something an intern could do)
And no, afaik they never said anything about the Iveco S-way. Its all about licensing. And yes, just because they got the green light from DaimlerTrucks NA, doesnt automatically mean, they got the rights for DaimlerTrucks EU as well (otherwise we probably wouldve seen the MP4.5 (i refuse to call that mere "update" a proper facelift ("Modell-Pflege", hence the MP, its got nothing to do with the initial Actros MP1-3), and IIRC that generation Actros is supposed to be called an S9... something?) alongside the initial release of the Freightliner Cascadia, shortly after the initial DAF XG release OR at the very latest with the facelift of the Cascadia. Those are two completely seperate companies under the Mercedes Benz Brand. And just fairly recent, Mercedes announced to give DaimlerTrucks EU the axe from their main business, and give them more freeroam. (sorta similar to what Scania or Porsche is to VAG).
I'm honestly glad they announced the new TGX, and i cannot wait till it finally hits the sim. Especially since how long MAN tweeted way back, that their offer is still open for SCS to get to them, once MAN released the New TGX back in 2020 (has it been already over a year since the current TGX has been announced and the design revealed? jeez...)

Re: Next ETS2 truck speculation
Ford trucks had got EU compliant engines since the previous generation (the Cargo) and had been driving all over Europe for years. F-Max is not only fully compliant, it's also being sold in EU countries (at least in Spain since 2 years ago). At this moment, I see them everyday as soon as I do some mid range trip on the highway.
And the fact we had no SiSu when Scandinavia came is not comparable of what COULD happen with Kamaz now HoR comes. Things aren't as simplistic as that. SCS was way smaller then, had less resources and had to focus on LOTS of major brand trucks that the game lacked on that moment. Kamaz will come if SCS wants (and Pavel himself already stated HE wants it) and if Kamaz is willing to do achieve a licensing agreement with SCS. That's all.
