TBH I don't really like the look of Unreal Engine.

That said, the steam page shows nothing about gameplay, game scale, truck brands and many other things. We'll see.

I can definitely hope that at some point SCS Software can develop the Australian Truck Simulator where each state will be a map DLC and will have very specific trailers with Australian trailer brands I can wait for that.

I actually wish that.

Well, we'll see what this game will be like. Initially they showed nothing, just a truck with a trailer with a wide composition on a road. No image in any city etc. We don't know if we will have licensed trucks. But I hope they show more progress.
However, I still hope that SCS will create your game on the Australian continent!

Very interesting. Apparently someone pays attention to SCS social media outlets along with mod sites and decided to try cashing in this on this small market. It does look good though from afar. But gameplay is where its at. What is that like. I will keep an eye on it but competition is always good. Their requirements are much higher so they are catering to higher end pc. Only one truck shown so we will have to see what their truck roster is like. Nice find though @Vlad (ua), thanks. Perhaps everyone that wanted Australia won't have to wait for SCS now but there will always be the comparisons between what each company does.

Until this game comes out, there is no reason to hate on it though. Its not impossible to own multiple games. If they are legit, its another opportunity for SCS to push themselves to stay on top. I used the reference before but Grand Tursimo use to be one of a kinda and on top of the world for the car sim. Look at how much competition they have and where they are now. If you want to remain on top, people will always come after you so you must be that much better.

What are the chances that people that left SCS, is at Red Ring?

@flight50 I agree.

a little competition is always good.

In the video we see a fictional peterbilt truck. Unless they are with negotiations with Australian truck companies, i think they will have fictional trucks only. SCS will not make a new simulator, Australia or any other region without licensed trucks.
There are naive questions, tedious questions, ill-phrased questions, questions put after inadequate self-criticism. But every question is a cry to understand the world. There is no such thing as a dumb question.
