@parasaurolophus67 Don't forget that Texas will get some new roads in time, as updates. So there will be even more!

@STEVOLVO yes but it will be easier now that all of Texas has been covered.

I have to agree with others on over doing Texas. We must have a sense of distance. The best thing about Texas is having space for distance. Doesn't mean to fill up space to the brim. Day one came packed enough. I am sure Sherman, Paris and what ever in South Texas comes will come with 1-2 smaller scenic towns.

So far, I haven't noticed anyone mention missing roads much outside of the Northeast obviously. To me, once this extra Texas comes next year, no needed to focus on Texas for quite awhile. Everyone can put attention elsewhere.

I think most people are slightly overwhelmed by the amount of roads in the Texas DLC. :)
Once we become familiar with most of them, we might be able to see more clearly what is missing.

@Trakaplex I think Childress could have been marked. It would have been similar to Dalhart, predominantly agricultural with a few other industries in town.

That said, like I've seen in the thread I feel like I've only scratched the surface of Texas as well. There's just sooooooo much to see and explore. Also, I'm taking some time to go back north/west to the previous parts of the map to keep things fresh, and not burn out all of Texas in one go. As the map gets bigger and bigger, this will be easier to do.

Unfortunately, I knew that day would come :

RDR2 with all it's content as Rockstar's masterpiece costs less than SCS' 1 DLC...

SCS should have been paid for their effort by SCS fans. (Theorically) but that does not work like this in reality.

Everyone has the same question in their mind : WHY WOULD I PAY MORE FOR A DLC RATHER THAN A FULL GAME ? (Practically)

Edit : Don't get me wrong. I've them but I ask the same question. Is it because Steam Price Policy or something else?

The problem is, if you want to spend time to relax through playing games, both ATS-ETS and RDR2 can be played. No matter whether Rockstar already reached profits they expected or not, RDR2 costs less with discount.Although we -base SCS fans- approach from SCS' side, it does not make sense from a stranger's aspect.(I want SCS to make money, thus they can develop the game)

I wish to have explained myself better but it's hard in English.

you compare a game with massive content that is discounted by more then half and is 4 years old (or is it 6?) against a recently released DLC, RDR2, that already made billions in revenue in the time of its life VS Texas DLC that maybe has reached a million, if at all, since release

this is comparing apples to oranges, also Steam in Türkiye is generally more expansive because of the inflation of the Türkiye Lira compared to € and/or $
