Nothing for sure but I say this year. So many years it has been in progress and also it seems we will be received quite "enough" blogs until the end of the year.

Thanks for your replies, guys!
Re: Texas Discussion Thread
Oregon had 5,000, not Washingon. Per Washington's June 4th 2019 blog, Washington only came with 3800 miles. Four Washington's fit inside of Texas so if you go with that, Texas is still well over 10,000 miles. It's closer to 15,000 thinking Washington density.Virtual Trucker 51 wrote: ↑25 Sep 2022 16:55 @flight50 Thanks, I didn't know that Washington had 5000 miles, in this case I'm adjusting my tip Texas will bring from 10,000-15,000 miles of new roads
My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

Maybe it's a Van Hool CX35 then

It will probably be a mashup of some buses. MCI J4500, Van Hool CX45, Temsa TS 45 and Prevost H3-45 are most likely to be the counterparts. The models of Setra, Volvo and Mercedes sold in the US look different.
Re: Texas Discussion Thread
So, SCS labels things slightly different (or wiki pages do, I dunno, I haven't dug into the game files to see where the different labeling came from) ETS lists Air Logistics as a sub category under "Logistics Companies" vs ATS that breaks Air Logistics into it's own.Tristman wrote: ↑25 Sep 2022 08:06I’d say the page you got those numbers from is probably outdated. You posted 1 air logistics company for ATS, but there’s Phoenix, Portland, Albuquerque and Denver airports. Reason to believe that some of the other numbers are also incorrect, though I still agree with your point about ATS not having enough companies.
That said, adjusting for that oversight: ETS2 has 4 separate companies (ACI SRL, AeroBaltica, FLE, and Sirin Air) ATS shows realistically 2. City no name/no branding airport triggers in Albuquerque/Denver/Great Falls/and Phoenix and then "Ultimus" branded cargo carrier.
Some would argue that the separate airport triggers are different companies, but without any logo and just airport monikers attached to air cargo.... that feels like (and looks like) a single company.
The comparison is far from perfect, I will grant that. But at the end of the day I believe the pen to paper example (or keyboard to forum example?) demonstrates that ETS2 is by and far the favored game title when it comes to company/cargo/delivery point development. ATS gets very little (barely any in comparison to ETS2) in the way of ICC/cargo/delivery point development.
To put this on point as it pertains to Texas: Texas has MANY companies in wind energy and fossil fuel fields. This is a PERFECT opportunity for SCS to close the gap a little so to speak on a few of the category headings. Chemical Companies should *EASILY* be closer after Texas release. IRL: There is a "Top 32 largest oil production companies in Texas" article listed on a quick google search. If SCS could add even 5 in game companies to their in game list that would be huge. The reno team adding the companies across the map as they redo content. There are over 150 wind farms in Texas. I can't see them being owned by less then 4 or 5 business entities. It would fantastic if SCS could incorporate more renewable energy companies. Also, expand on wind to solar panels. The southwest/west is covered in solar production. That could be added retroactively to existing states where appropriate. These would help close that in game company disparity quite well. It would also give users of the game MORE STUFF TO DO! How many times have we all hauled recycled paperboard at this point? How many times have we all hauled cheese? Wire reels? I mean, same old same old. There is so much trailer based cargo that's being ignored for ATS. That's another thread though.
Texas has the opportunity to do a lot of things for ATS, and could/should be their crowning achievement for ATS (to date). Will it? I'm really hoping we find out BEFORE X-mas break.

This! It should turn the corner and be enough content/places to deliver to keep a player busy for a while.

I know this means literally nothing, but just to note, according to SteamDB, the "Store API Release Date" for Texas is November 30th 2022. I don't expect Texas to drop on that day specifically, but this may be a good indicator SCS is planning on dropping Texas in November sometime.
