We don't have signs of them yet, but I hope they are featured in the Airports blog...

Trakaplex wrote: 04 Oct 2022 18:20 Texas will definitely be 1.47, this is too early for 1.46. Yeah, I think the DLC is finished, they have to check for bugs or holes now. Most of the team split to LA/AR I think? If Oklahoma isn't a standalone state, there could be a team already on the Dakotas... scary.
You are way off on this one my friend. If Texas was 1.47:
-We wouldn't get weekly Texas blogs
-we wouldn't be able to access all of Texas on the game map. we can now pan to see all of Texas
-1.46ob wouldn't bring polished roads
-so many new companies wouldn't now be visible

No reason for them to do 1.47 this year. Not when they can patch 1.46. This is the first full week of October. 1.46 goes public in 4-5 weeks. That puts us Mid Nov worst case. No time for 1.47. Dec 15th is likely the xmas stream. Not a lot of time to try squeezing in another update. Whatever they want to add, can push to 2023 when they get back from holidays. End of Feb is the earliest to see 1.47 but that is WB territory. If not, its 1.48 for WB. Depends on how WB is looking if its 1.47 or 1.48.
Already talked about this. I was thinking Open Beta would only last a few weeks. If 1.46 comes by Halloween, does that mean Texas is November 3rd or 10? 10, being the latest?

@Trakaplex Open beta just launched today. SuchManor posted all the new signs for all 30+ new companies that show up in the 1.46 open beta. viewtopic.php?p=1746283#p1746283. Roll over the spoiler box. (black box)

I don't think you went back far enough to read all the news that happened today. You'll need to go back to before 10am our time (Central Texas) pg 563. This is why we are saying Texas is 1.46....not 1.47. I think you are missing some info.

No Texas plates in the WoT open beta. Not super surprising, I think Montana was the outlier for having them in.

I'm very excited to see all these companies added, it really does feel like SCS listened to the community outcry here. Thank you so much!

As far everyone wondering about "who competes with who", checking variants of existing prefabs in the map editor gives a lot of insight:

Pickit - Eddy's and Tidbit
Equos - Sell Goods and Wallbert (warehouses)
Taylor - Plaster & Sons
Plugged - Charged
Golden Meadows - Sunshine Crops
X-Tech - HMS Machinery
Syntetico - Chemso
Asuma - Voltison Motors (warehouse) and Drake Car Dealer
Alis Cars - Drake Car Dealer
Nielsen - Bitumen
Chuck & Jack's - Deepgrove
GARC - Rail Export (intermodal) and Johnson & Smith/American Lines (supply depot)
Grand Pastures - Bushnell Farms
Vortex - Gallon Oil

And a little bonus about the DLC after this:

Great Falls Cargo Terminal has a variant named "ok_tulsa"

There's no competitor for the big and obvious one, but I don't really feel like making a fuss about it when they just gave us this much.
And it's important to remember that this list of companies might not be complete, and that a competitor might use unique prefabs that are not yet in the game files.

So we will be getting a Wallbert competitor in the distribution industry at least. That's a start.

@Tristman That's 14 competitors. That's almost 50% of the new companies. I'll take it. I wonder about Mon Coeur. That's kinda still new. So it might be safe to say that 14 new companies could be regional? Hmmmm. All the rest could go national or state specific.

I wonder about MWM, Faraday, Goliath, Walden's and 18 Wheels Garage comes too. Could that come to Texas. The best part about Texas is that there is space for a ton of companies. With 30+ new companies, that is the diversity ATS is missing. This really made my week. Hard to focus on work right now, I'm too pumped. People told me don't get my hopes up to high but I'm glad I speak my mind. Texas had to bring the house and it looks like Texas will exceed my expectation. Roads, the cities and now the companies. The cargo is yet to be reveal but I'm sure there' plenty new coming there too.

Well, interesting! I believe we are close to an announcement of Oklahoma.

Another point on all the new companies. I'm not sure how many are rebrands or if all are new prefabs or a mix. But this is a start at putting a dent in new companies regardless. This is at least moving in the right direction. If all these new companies are all new prefabs as well, OMG. Not a $11.99 state at all.
