Well, after reading posts about the High 5 it seems it is one of the most famous interchanges in Texas. Or should I say, in the US? As ATS is all about driving, it would be very nice to have the High 5 in the game. Maybe it even could be a selling point? Because, the other way around, if the High 5 is not in the game, then people could consider this as an important miss. Just like Yellowstone has been a big miss. Or is the High 5 not that important / famous?

I can agree with the statement about the High 5. As one of the "World's 18 Strangest Roadways", yes I'd say it fits the bill of needing to make the game. Some don't care, some do care but if US-75 makes the game, the High 5 would be considered a miss by many. If it boils down to space vs industry....its something SCS has to deal with and choose one. Imho, I'd push the High 5 a tad more North and get it in so that it doesn't conflict with I-35. At scale, I can see I-35 an issue. The entire stretch of road from downtown Dallas all the way up to US-380(McKinney), is a complete wall of urban development. That is 26 miles of development. In ATS, I'd like to see about 4-5 miles of that stretch to indicate US-75's most urban part. Not a lot of space at all. I'd account for the High 5 taking up about a mile worth of all that so that leaves 3-4 miles from downtown to US-380. There is only 77 miles from downtown Dallas to the Texas/Oklahoma border. You won't find much space of trees and greenery between towncenter and US-380 either. Its all developed for the most part. Its probably the densest stretch of commercial development in all of DFW.

H5, if SCS can make it fit, it could be scenery.
+ possibly so that the service road could be used as a means of turning the truck around, if 1 took the wrong turn earlier.
If it can be fit in, then there will be... H5, then short after that, Sherman as scenery. Specifically the US-75 / US-82 interchange.
Distance between H5 and US 75/82 interchanges. Is about two of those interchanges.
From the midpoints of both interchanges, it is about 2530meters. IF the road would go totally straight. It will not.

flight50, Presidio, I forgot that one!
If Paris can fit, then this could be a total of 32, for Texas. In the future.

/edit:

Regarding I-10. I hope that SCS will combine exit 856 with Blue star Memorial Highway Orange Tx, at Texas Travel Information Center at Orange.

Texarkana. https://www.google.com/maps/dir/33.1719 ... m2!4m1!3e0 layout possible.
Leaving either this https://www.google.com/maps/dir/33.6407 ... m2!4m1!3e0
or If Arkansas is combined Louisiana with https://www.google.com/maps/dir/33.6407 ... m2!4m1!3e0 .
The first one is a bit troublesome, south of Texarkana. I think there might not be any exits on the Arkansas side, south of Texarkana, on I-49, on the way to Shreveport.

I think US-75 could be cheated more farther, more wedged space for McKinney. Presidio as marked? Guess it would be like Van Horn. Problems, there really is no valid connection. It would just seem in the middle of nowhere. They could do FM 170 to TX-118 Terlingua to Panther Junction and US-385 up to Marathon. Orange would have to be in the game for the last exit before Louisiana.

TX-118 or 385 works. I could care less which but yesssss that loop is what makes Presidio valid.

Trakaplex, even now, there wont be that much distance to Durant OK.

Orange? If that is in, then it should be just in sight of I-10 Exit 856.
Then there would be no space for Texas Travel Information Center at Orange.
But Orange interchange could possibly take less space?

Presidio?

We need exit 880 by any means necessary. No space for Orange as a city though. We need distance from Beaumont to Lake Charles. That is only 56 miles which is super short as is. We need it to feel like 56 miles as best a possible. Get the travel center in at exit 880, the Sabine River ......exit 7 in Louisiana to get the Loves truck stop with is Vinton, LA as a scenic town and then on to LC which needs to be marked.

Brendan0620 wrote: 22 Nov 2022 01:00 I've explored a lot of Texas already, and I must say, everything I've seen is mostly positive, Especially the big cities. This DLC is definitely a step up from most other DLCs from the past, although I will say, there is one negative I have with this DLC...

Too, many, ARON, gas, stations, way too much. In fact, every city, marked or unmarked, there seems to be two or more ARONs, this isn't that realistic and has got to change, I thought I had an issue with too many Gallon stations in Montana, and this DLC seemed too have too many ARONs that it bugs me. I get that SCS wants to correlate Gas brands in real life with the colors of gas stations in the game, but I don't really like this approach currently, at least not until there are several more gas brands in the future. Hopefully in the future, SCS can add maybe 2 or 3 more Gas brands to the game to help fix this issue. I seriously hope SCS doesn't fill Oklahoma with Gallon stations or another brand in particular to the brim.

I hope I didn't come off as complaining too much, I just feel like one gas brand being too dominant in a huge state is not okay.
Plain stupid in my opinion. I wish they'd do away with companies names that feature the first name of folks. I was just about to do a drive in TX for the first time. But if it's littered with this eyesore, then it's no deal. Thanks for the heads up.

flight50, I hope it will get in. Just next to Exit 856.

MT269, Aron gas stations?
I can't remember if I seen a lot or not of those.
For sure not seen Aron's littering around.
No companies with a first name of ppl? Then quite a lot of IRL companies would be gone. and more if no last name.
