But obviously they're continuing to add onto it. Just hope it's not a "bus stops in BtBS/RttBS" situation
Well, I don't know if the prefab was updated and something new was added. If so, you may have even more indication. If it's something from a future update, they're already preparing.
There's a Triple Truck wash just for TX now, so there is an update for the models.

There's my buddy coming thru. OMG. Look at that Annie has been a busy bee. She came thru big time. She said we are gonna like Texas and mmmmmmm. I hope you had a lot of fun with these Ms. Annie. I count more than 30, Ahhhhhhhh, lol. This is great. This is the boost Texas needs. This is the boost ATS needs. Not to mention depots that Montana, Wyoming and Colorado got. Zero chance Texas is $11.99. I'd easily pay $17.99-19.99 USD/EU.

Kolico........YESSSS BABY. Finally we're gonna get it after Colorado and Wyoming teasers.

Waaa Whattt, lol. Is that 13 on top of the 11 we know about between the blogs and the micro site?
We're looking at around 33 or 34 total new companies now added to TX bringing our overall total to around 90 or so.

Wow it's gonna tie or beat Beyond the Baltic Sea, that I did not see coming even in my most optimistic predictions. I can't overstate how great this is. Annie, Petr, and the rest of the people responsible for companies, have hit it out of the park. Amazing work.

In 1.46 open beta at least 2 viewpoint cutscenes can be found in the hidden areas of Texas.
They have temporary names: tx_cut_salt and tx_cut_capitan

flight50, What if it is $11.99?
That would be even more of a reverse steal, than Iberia DLC.
Texas can't be regular map DLC price, right? or can it?

Well, know that we will probably have the Peterbilt Plant in Texas, as with this update, Peterbilt dealerships are now companies and the 579 now has Pig back. Maybe the New 579 is the next truck...
If it turns out we get the NG 579, Texas is going to be on fire. I dare people wait to buy it, lol. (J/K). I know there will be some that can't or won't buy it right away. Paccar has been quiet but maybe that was for a reason. It makes all the sense in the world though to bring the NG 579, but mannnnn, I don't wanna get my hopes up. I still rater the NG T680 but I know what the new 579 can do for Texas. That plant is a must have though. But I wonder if it could be like WS was...activate later.

Its more attractive to piggy back the NG 579's. Oscar did say new trucks are coming.

I would send a check for 6 bucks to Prague if Texas was $11.99, that would be complete reverse highway robbery. SCS can't shoot themselves in the foot like that. They're bringing ETS2-level quantity, they should charge ETS2-level price.

As for the truck on the cover, Montana's was about 1.5 months before release, Wyoming's was almost 5 months before release, Colorado's was about 7 months before release, Idaho's was about 8 months IIRC. So it is quite strange that Texas's isn't on there just a month or so before release. Makes you wonder for sure...

Still might be the Cascadia or 57X. If Texas is mid or late November then right about now would be the time to match Montana's, so it's not necessarily late. You'd think they'd want the cover finalized ASAP though for marketing purposes, unless there's a good reason not to.

I don't want to get my or anyone's hopes up for sure, but the NG579 would be pretty great to have with Texas. To me, Peterbilt is the defining brand in American trucking. Not to mention Texas trucking. Getting a new Peterbilt, the Denton plant, and Peterbilt as a company with trucks as cargo all for Texas would be too cool.

I know right. This is beyond my wildest dream right now. I think they really took a step back and looked at the potential for Texas. I think someone really paid attention to us on this one. This is huge moving forward. I hope this is the new trend. Now we can't expect this output with smaller states coming but we should get at least 50% of Texas effort for the rest of the California rebuild. California needs a lot of new. Not everything in Texas works in California so California needs is own set of newbies. 90 companies is a huge improvement for ATS.

Honestly I'd be pissed. I'd be super mad at Pavel for a dlc that took 3.5-4 years to make, Annie/Petr going thru all this work, Max, Simon, Patrik, RacerToft,, Kraake, the entire involved team (sorry those of you I left out by name, I grew to know these people).......................$11.99 is a slap in the face. I want to pay a minimum of $17.99.....period. Too much work to rip yourselves off like this. If Texas came in halves, maybe $11.99 each. But not for the whole thing. If people complain about Texas being $17.99 or more, they don't need to be playing ATS anymore. If people do their research on Texas or follow this thread, its impossible to expect $11.99. Noooo way.

Well yeah that's the key isn't it, continuing this momentum going forward. Ideally no more 2-3 company states until we get to the east coast. Every state between here and there has potential to bring at minimum 4 or 5 companies.
