Personally not a fan of the Aron brand, either. I have seen many Aron stations in Texas, but it's not too extreme I think. It may vary depending on which region of Texas you go to though. I've actually seen Gallon Oil used a lot—even for a Vortex delivery point in at least one case, that surprised me.

The new brands seem kinda rare. But the important thing is that the assets exist now. Perhaps the new brands will become more common, given time.

Is ARON a swear word in another language or something? I've seen many many people criticize it and I have no idea why, it is exactly the style of gas station branding that would exist in the US.

They've been using this trick for quite some time, though. But I confess that I also never saw them using this trick like in this video.

SCS will have its cards up its sleeve for when it arrives in the smaller states.

Simlar tricks in, for example Hanover, Germany, in ETS2.

This is why some roads, that seem to be close ingame, but longer distance IRL, are NOT connected together by SCS.
Illusion of things being bigger, than they are. etc.

That's interesting. But though people would see this more in the smaller states. Like Louisiana, which is in a few years, SCS would have to capture the feel despite it being a smaller state. They also have to add enough cities, so if they use this too much, it would easily be detected.

If you just use the game as intended, you wouldn't see anything.
Now devcam is for developers. Not for playing.

That's why a fixed camera position for "walking" plus a sound would be ideal. The devcam is not a feature, and yet players are relying on it to fill a gap in what the game offers.

Oh, sure. There's nothing wrong with the name or brand that I can see. For me, it's just personal preference.

Although, if there really are that many people who feel the same way, I suppose there might be a specific problem after all, one that I'm unable to put words to. 🤷
