Re: Texas Discussion Thread
Anyone knows what SCS best selling DLC state is? I bet Texas will beat it.

Re: Texas Discussion Thread
My guess would be New Mexico. Cheapest, oldest, included in a steam bundle, makes little sense to not have it if you're buying other DLCs.
I think by that nature, Texas won't beat it. Especially if there's a steam bundle that gets you Texas and New Mexico day 1. Which SCS should do 100%.

Best selling, no knows that answer. It would be all bias coming from us. I'd actually go with Oregon or Washington though honestly. More people was ready to get away from desert and both those brought a lot more greenery. Not to mention ProMods Canada now which requires both to even play that mod. There are people that follow ProMods and don't necessary have interest in playing in the US.
My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

I was playing ETS2 convoy, and someone said Texas will release in November of this year. Should this be taken with a grain of salt? Absolutely!
Re: Texas Discussion Thread
^Of course but Nov/Dec is definitely a very high possiblity if Pavel said Texas is the big push for the next dlc and put even more people on it after Montana released, sure. With no maps for ETS2 this year, I'm sure Texas would be that one US state that could bring in really good revenue until WB and HoR can release.

Re: Texas Discussion Thread
Pavel has repeatedly said that Texas is the 2022 DLC.
I translate via Google Translate. Sometimes he does it badly. I beg understand and forgive.

Re: Texas Discussion Thread
In fact, on the Montana release Stream, Pavel said he doesn't promise 100% Texas for 2022. We can get Texas at the end of the year or just early 2023.
ATS and ETS2 is Hella nice!

Re: Texas Discussion Thread
I know Texas is huge, but good gracious, they've been working on it for quite a while now. I really hope it drops before end of 2022. If it gets pushed to 2023, I'm hoping it's beyond spectacular. No missing roads, no missing industry, no missing (expected marked) cities.
Anything been officially talked about for post Texas? Oklahoma for certain? AR/LA? Those three in 2023 would be nice. LA/AR moves us further into a new biome.

Re: Texas Discussion Thread
Nothing official other than that Nemiro said that people can probably guess what is next (Oklahoma) during the Havre -> Sidney stream IIRC. And that they're pushing towards the Great Lakes, which would seem to make Louisiana less likely.

Re: Texas Discussion Thread
They mentioned three states are in the works (Besides Texas and at that time, Montana). OK is pretty obvious here but the other two are Kansas and Nebraska most probably... Since Pavel mentioned the Great Lakes and the future having "Corn, Corn more Corn and little bit of wheat".VTXcnME wrote: ↑21 Aug 2022 13:32 I know Texas is huge, but good gracious, they've been working on it for quite a while now. There's also been files in-game labeled with OK, KS and NE that came with 1.45.
