Re: Texas Discussion Thread
Is this guy new? I can't remember seeing him before...
He changes from the shovel to the pickaxe from time to time. That's a nice little detail:

I have a new favourite route right now, the whole US-77 is really well done. So much attention to detail, every farmhouse is different, really awesome.

10 days later, its done. AT LAST!
Anyway, this was one of the best State dlc's ever! At the very top! So much places, So much highways! Just... SO MUCH! I say it tops off Colorado and Wyoming! The interstate highways were pretty confusing thats for sure. Even the huge cities were cool to see while passing by. Now, I won't say anything about the traffic criticism because I know its a game problem and not a Texas DLC problem. so I'll leave that one out. I would give this state a 9.5/10. You did an awesoeme job SCS! Hope to see more of this stuff in your next states!

Re: Texas Discussion Thread
Absolutely loving Texas, have been driving it a bit so I was too busy to post, then I watched a video with Joe Kucan and got distracted playing command and conquer as well. That said decided to splash on a wheel seeing as one of our retailers had $200 off the thrustmaster 248, so learning to drive once that arrives will be..... interesting/disasterous.

"Cruising Texas" done and dusted! Still feel like I've barely scratched the surface. This Expansion is definitely one of the GOAT. I'm way too excited for the upcoming DLCs now.

I kind of feel like they could've added more scenery towns. There's 79 so far. US-287 between Wichita Falls and Amarillo only has Childress, when Clarendon and Vernon could have had been added without space issues.

Re: Texas Discussion Thread
You can not overload the map with a large number of cities, this will spoil the atmosphere of a long road.
I translate via Google Translate. Sometimes he does it badly. I beg understand and forgive.

Yeah, more towns is not always better.
Some of the best parts of the map are long stretches of road without too much human presence, imho
