It's probably another pointless post but for what it's worth the bonnet geometry on the Anthem is totally wrong, you can not see the bonnet from the driving position in the real unit unless you are at least 8ft tall or are leaning over the wheel.

Re: Mack Anthem Geometry
Lets just say that the "bonnet" is not the only thing that doesn't look like the IRL version. The response I have seen is "It was created from a cad model.". So if the cad model is accurate then the game model doesn't display it correctly. Either change the cad model or the way it looks, but please fix it. We all waited a VERY long time for these new trucks.

Re: Mack Anthem Geometry
Yes it's HUGE , yet you still can't see it in game because the position is TOO far back without moving the seat and FOV back until it looks like your'e peering through a telescope. ACK. The Lonestar is the same.

Re: Mack Anthem Geometry
@tbar It has been proven that the interior mirror position is correct to the exterior model, your photo doesn't prove your point, due to the obvious fact that its taken at an angle TOWARDS the mirror and also not in the drivers position. If anything, it just further proves that the in-game model is correct. Just face the reality, you are NOT going to get same view you see IRL through a COMPUTER MONITOR.

Re: Mack Anthem Geometry
@TruckerKid Where in ANY of my posts do you see me asking for a real life view eh? Just want to be able to see the left mirror without going to extremes as stated. The photo I provided was to show the bonnet angle as was the OP's concern. Here's a screenshot with the seat ALL the way back and 80 degrees FOV. Still no mirror in sight. Is this good enough to PROVE my point to your satisfaction or do you just want to keep insisting I accept it as is? If you don't ask for change NONE will happen, if you're satisfied with the way it is then good on ya. Just don't tell me to "face reality" AKA your viewpoint.There's a lot to be liked about ATS and I've spent years driving it and I'm thankful and daily enjoy all of the improvements that have been made recently but this needs fixing.

You are right, It may be proven that that is the default position of the mirror, but it is also proven by ppl that have driven them (including me) that you can push (rotate) the mirror arms forward in to another index location. [edit] And if you look closely at the mirror arms of tbar's photo, you will notice the driver side arm is actually projecting forward.. why because it was adjusted that way.

@TruckerKid Here's a screenshot of the Peterbilt 389 with the the same settings Seat ALL the way back and 80 degrees FOV. Notice any difference?

Now the Lonestar same settings. At least you can see part of the mirror.

Excellent mod in the Steam Workshop for mirror position;

There's also a similar mod (by the same author) for the Lonestar;

@Crocko From Oz Yes, thank you for the link and thank the devs for the mods. We just shouldn't have to use them just to see the mirrors in a Truck Simulator, a basic duh factor in my opinion. If you want to attract customers to the brand then give us a good models that are functional for driving and parking your trailer.
