This truck is so cool. But There's seems to be a problem with the rear view mirrors/screen for the UK config cabins. The mirrors works fine on the left hand drive version but the right hand drive version just shows the guideline with a black screen

is there anywhere an explanation of the lines in the mirrorcam?
I guess we can not set them up like in RL with showing the end of the trailer and stuff like that?

I have a skin for the New Actros MP4 but can't figure out how to convert it to the MP5?
Can someone please help with an overview of what to do. After do we need to upload through mod studio 2 as an MP4?

To make a skin, I strongly suggest using ModStudio 2. The second step is to get the 3D template for the truck. I'm not sure if the authors of this MP5 have made templates available for it. The template will show you where the different parts of the truck are. You just paint over those parts. What I usually do is open the template in paint.net. Then, I add a new layer on the top of it. I set the transparency of that layer to around 60% (or 110 in paint.net). Then I paint over the parts I want. When I'm done, I copy the whole layer I created, create a new document in paint.net and paste it there. Make sure you save it as a DDS. Then, you use ModStudio 2 to set your paint job there. However, ModStudio 2 uses templates to get the definition of the truck. You can import the MP5 mod into ModStudio 2 so that it can show you which parts can be painted. I think that's a major undertaking for someone who has no experience in modding but if you have questions, there is a forum here for modders.

@NemesysTrans as far as I know the MP5 uses the same dds files as scs MP4 - at least it was when this mod started

The dashboard stopped working after a few days. It turned black. Everything else still works, so I'm driving without knowledge of my speed and fuel levels.

I love this Truck. Since i started playong ETS2 again, it was the First Truck mod i‘ve installed and i‘m driving it nearly all the time. But after some Performance problems i‘ve realized that the biggest problem is the Actros.

Ok, i‘m running the Game on Ultra settings with 400% SS, on a 49“ widescreen and Headtracking. Also i‘m having nearly every mod installed wich will cost fps, like Brutal Weather and traffic. But nothing is so extreme then driving this Truck.

With any original SCS Truck, i got 70-60fps in Frankfurt with Good Weather. When i choose the Actros they drop from 60 to 40 sometimes. I‘ve disabled all other mods one by one and you recognize that every mod (espaccially the graphic mods) cost fps, but the Actros is extreme.

It does not matter where i place it in mod manager, it pulls fps down. So i‘ve decided to drive the SCS Actros in the near future, but want to ask if there will be any „performance Updates“ in the making for the next Time?

Love your work and hope i can drive it again.
