there is no New Actros MP1 and MP2, it is New Actros or Actros 4 and Actros 5

Some informations for the Actros Fans..

Yes, this part next to the diesel tank is the Sideguard Assist. This System is not standard on every Actros, you had to pay for it in real life - in 2022 it is the next version ´Aktiv Sideguard assist´. We added this part to the mod because the most new Actros trucks here in Germany are delivered with this system. A lot of truck from other countrys, especially from east europe, has no Sideguard assist.
The Actros 5 has a lot of different names. If you need some parts, you need the official truck code ´963´, in the truck documents is written only ´Actros´. I visited a Mercedes TruckTraining at Mercedes Wörth in 2019, everyone says there Actros 5.

And a little informations Information for the user with imcompatible problems with the mod: If the game says that some parts of our mod are incompatible, please edit the manifest of the mod and add ´compatible_versions[]: "1.44.*" ´at the end of the def. There you can find some informations of the mod creator where you see for what game version you can use this mod. The older truck version of 1.43 works without game crash fine on 1.44 with this small edit.

"Not Comptaible" can also mean that you are missing some DLCs I know this because "Italian Paintjob DLC" reports Incompatible for me but that is because I never bought "Italian Paintjob DLC" .

Yet the skin in game would be my "smerc14a" skin (Cabin A, GigaSpace).

I checked my tobj file "skmerc148.tobj" and it was pointing to the correct 8x4 skin dds file.

Within your def files for the cabin, there is no 8x4:

So that is what I meant by missing def file I think you need to add a cabin def file for the 8x4 cabin So that custom skins can use the correct 8x4 skin rather than the cabin A.

there is no cabin for the 8x4, the tower deflectors are part of the chassis, and the cabins in this mod are made so you can remove the spoiler, there is no separate cabin needed

also, the tower deflectors arent UV unwraped, they cant be skinned, for whatever reason

We do not have an 8x4 cabin.

Since our Actros has no spoilers.

That is why there are only these variants
