I literally topped up my steam wallet the day it was teased... And I'm really hoping it comes out this week, dunno if I can wait much longer.

15 days worth of waiting between XG/XG+ teaser and it's release
7 days worth of waiting between T Evo teaser and it's release
17 days worth of waiting between Cascadia teaser and it's release
14 days worth of waiting between FH Tuning Pack teaser and it's release
6 days worth of waiting between LT teaser and it's release
20 days worth of waiting between 49X teaser and it's release
24 days worth of waiting and counting between Renault T Pack teaser and it's release, now tell me, how is this a normal thing for a smaller dlc.

Btw, this thread is mine, so I can express what I think here freely.

I've had money ready since June 2021. They'll need to release 1.44 to public before doing anything with the T, since it's reworking some of the parts. It will be 2 weeks since the start of the Open Beta tomorrow, which is what I had counted, 1.44 being so huge with all of Austria. Expecting 1.44 release somewhere this week (hopefully), then it's all up to SCS and Renault to decide the optimal time to release the DLC.

I don't know... It just doesn't make sense the time schedule, the last couple of years when they teased stuff, it always came within a week or two max. (I know it's never set in stone but they did, willingly or unwillingly, created a pattern.). And if the goal here is to release it hand in hand with the official 1.44, then why tease it so early??

I was also told that even though the DLC will work together with an specific 1.44 feature, it doesn't mean it has to release when 1.44 go live for everyone... Because the "Licensed vs Aftermarket Customization Options in UI" effect on the DLC is minimal (Technically speaking), very much like mods (A lot of mods I used recently were never updated to 1.44 and still showed where the part descended from and functioned perfectly with the new feature.).

The DLC also received some activity on steamDB yesterday and has gone through the Senior Tester branch, which is the last branch a DLC of this kind goes through before releasing for everyone. (I know steamDB is never 100% right but it's a good lead on when something is coming out.)

Also, Pavel did say on the Xmas stream that the "Licensed vs Aftermarket Customization Options in UI" feature would be introduced in the same time as the release of the Renault DLC... We have the feature but no DLC, yet. (I'm sorry, but basically a month is not "around the same time".)

So yeah, I've been very excited for this DLC but I honestly don't know what to think anymore... Part of me still hopes it will come out this week, another part knows it will probably take around two weeks or more to come.

I've heard people saying it'll release hand in hand with 1.44, but to me it doesn't make much sense to release two things at once. Better leave people getting excited by one, then give it a bit of time before introducing the other. So I'm expecting a little time between 1.44 and this, though I hope 1.44 shouldn't be too far away.

The Licesned VS Aftermarket isn't in the game yet, it's in the beta. It's not a public release.

By the time the T Tuning Pack comes out, I'll probably already have clocked up 100k on the T High judging by the way things are going.

Dangerous cargoes are by far my favorite ones to haul, especially with the container carrier.

In the ITCC depot in Linz, you need to get inside the warehouse to load up.
