I was just thinking about all the new industries coming to Montana and one of the biggest and most exciting things about that is
Annie. How cool is it going to be to see what she comes up with for company designs if these are in fact brand new companies? A nice round of companies from a visual side as well as the economy side. Not to mention, if we can get another round if restaurants from her.
How many of these new companies will get company trailer skins as well? Variety here goes hand and hand with compaines themselves. There are a few companies in the game now that could bring company trailer skins but they don't. Farmer's Barn as Xaagon mention is one. Eddy's and Tidbit are 2 more.
Or will any of these new prefabs carry on old names? I see NAMIQ and Sunshine Crops and written all over half of these. New prefabs and industries is one thing but I'm waiting to see how many of these 9, bring us brand new company names. I know Great Falls is a one off so it must be different. Sugar Plant, Grain elevator, silane gas and talc worry me. They could go either way new or old names. Electricity, Landscape and Waste Transfer should definitely be brand new names.
Trailer service could be a one company chain for all of ATS. There won't be a ton like truck stops. Probably even rarer than Service centers too. Considering the blog said we can make deliveries here, it has to be a company name and not like the truck centers. Makes me think truck centers can get overhauled and become a chain as well with parts being delivered to it as well. That would be nice. Same for dealerships, lets pull thru those garages. Rework the parking lots to make sense at dealerships. We can then finally pull thru for service like I
sketched up here. Looks like we will be able to pull thru for trailers so why not. Repair+delivery depot. Sounds like the workings of a complex prefab to me. Lots of wasted space on these dealership prefabs. Minimize the parking lots and give us lanes to pull thru for service. ETS2 got dealership makeovers. But even they can be adjusted again to allow pull thru. Perhaps set it up to drop trailers and get serviced or make a trailer length restriction for pull thru. LCV's are too long for most prefabs to pull thru. Limite those if that's the case. No articulated trailers to get service. Add a trailer drop out front to park LCV's....get service and then re attach.
If we could get such an overhaul, please let time factor in based off the necessary repair. Animation of repair, black screen...whatever. Repairs should factor into deliver times. Also more type of repairs and maintenance could roll into such an overhaul. So I'm very interested in seeing what all this new trailer service allows.
