But seriously, I like the idea of Montana Next August, as long as that means this coming August and not August next year.

So we may rule out Chief Joseph pass? I hope it's included since MT-43 could be a nice addition for travel between I-15 and US-93.

Has the SCS released any DLC release plans before? Or do they themselves get it upon completion without deadlines?

@fra_ba It might come, Pic 4 from the Passes blog shows the intersection, and in the Instagram video for the blog you can see the MT-43 sign is included when the truck passes. However it might not be accessible though but the US 93 end will be in game. I think it would be a good add so that we can get from Salmon/US 93 to I-15 without having to go all the way south to Idaho Falls or all the way north to Missoula.

You know, the underlined letters could mean something entirely different in the Czech language... Just saying.

Do we think that Dillon, MT along I-15 will be a marked city? If not, that will be quite a long stretch of interstate in-game without any marked cities, with nothing in between Idaho Falls and Butte. It seems like a pretty desolate stretch of interstate IRL, so maybe it would make sense not to have it marked. It also appears to be a very small town that does not have much in the way of industry.

One of the talc factories mentioned in the Montana industry blog is probably located in Barretts south of Dillon.

I mean if they pulled an ETS2 and made Barretts a small dot marked city that would be fine. But I think it would be good to portray that distance as pretty empty, as it is IRL for the most part. Building up Dillon to be a marked city I think would take away from that.

I am really hoping for MT-43 like others have suggested. I think it's very likely we get it seeing how its intersection with US-93 was shown already. I don't think there would be much of a point in modeling the road there otherwise. Salmon is a cool town and a fun drive to get there from the south, but right now it's really tough to get to. Giving us another route in and out with both US-93 north of it and MT-43 would be a nice way to make it more accessible. With MT-43, suddenly trips to and from Salmon are far more accessible from the east on I-90 and I-94.

On a separate note, we've now gotten week-apart blogs for both Montana and Texas. I don't think that means much for Texas, as it is possible they wanted to kick out the El Paso blog quickly after the poorly-received Texas Logging blog, but with Montana it could be the start of regular weekly blogs. We have 14 (subject to change of course) blogs before the Montana release date announcement based on the microsite, so we're looking at 14-18 weeks I'd imagine. If 14, that's release date for the second week of September. If 18, that's first week of October. My money is still on mid-October, something like October 21. That gives them leeway to drop back to every-other-week blogs for a blog or two, and/or throw in a blog post or two more not on the microsite.
