Re: Montana Discussion Thread
think it depends on how you park your truck. but ya the trigger should be the entire parking spot then just the middle of the park spot.
Re: Montana Discussion Thread
Yeah I am aware of it but sometimes you park between the lines and there's no trigger whatsoever. You move to the next spot and it works perfectly fine. From what I can tell, it's usually close to where the icon on the minimap is but sometimes even that is a gamble.

I don't park in truck stops often because I mostly due it under 12 hours. Mostly beating the fatigue hours lol. But when I do Its mostly good. Rarely get problems. but I get what you mean tho when not transporting.

Re: Montana Discussion Thread
Even in real life you can't just park somewhere because there's room on an empty parking lot. Some folks have a thing about private property.
Re: Montana Discussion Thread
The parking you showed looks like it should be functional. You could report it as a bug and see what they say, maybe they will add a trigger.
Re: Montana Discussion Thread
Yeah I agree. I've thought for a long time that the entire parking lot should be a rest zone. That removes the need for a trigger. It could work the same way as viewpoints. We trigger its discovery when are near it well before we even get to the camera to access it. There's a zone around the cameras apparently. It would be nice if that zone came for rest stops. Sometimes our trailers are too long and don't trigger and we have to detach to rest.

Re: Montana Discussion Thread
Yeah this is one area where I think less realism is acceptable. Paint the whole parking lot as a sleep trigger. The tedium from having to find exactly where the game wants us to park to sleep properly is not worth the tradeoff.

Re: Montana Discussion Thread
thats what parking lots are, it is a zone that is defined in wich you can trigger sleeping, they are not individually marked, some may be to small to fit the whole truck+trailer combo in it for the game to recognise it as valid

Re: Montana Discussion Thread
There are anywhere from 1 to 4-5 trigger points per truck stop to trigger rest. There only needs to be 1. Make the zone large enough to encompass the entire truck stop is what we're saying.

@xXCARL1992Xx @Trucker_71 What I mean is parking lots where there are 10 parking spots designed for trucks, parallel to each other, and only a few of them will trigger.
