I'm not concerned about the blogs for Montana still being fairly high and Montana releasing soon. Why? There are 7 days in a week. When a state is about to release, SCS goes heavier on blogs. It happens with every dlc when we get multiple blogs for the same dlc. We have plenty of time to blog everything on the microsite and more if they choose to do so. I wouldn't focus on what the microsite brings. I'd focus on how many weeks till release and how many blogs we'd get each week. Montana has potential and I am sure more people are looking forward to it. The open beta is fairly smooth so ramping up the dlc, with more blogs will be ideal.

Even then, they mention the blogs are just ideas and others might come, they all might not get covered. Just because there are a bunch of indicated blogs left doesn’t say to me that we’re not going to get Montana soon.

Say, Montana will arrive sometime after 1.45 with next 60 days or less. Montana proceeding as expected.

rbsanford, yeah Grand Teton National Park part does take space, but it is worth it.
+ Jackson pushes everything north.

Regarding what can be seen in Yellowstone National Park? Old Faithful, not right now. If they will add it later? Who knows. Space is tiny.
1.45 brings in Lower Geyser Basin, with Fountain Paint Pot, that will come to the game and it looks great.

US-89? not yet counting it out for the future, but right now? No.

Laurel? connects to US-212/310, that goes to US-310, that goes to Lovell and Greybull.
US-212 towards Beartooth Highway, is a stub.

Hmm?! West Yellowstone and Lower Geyser Basin, they are, right now, locked to dlc_mt_and_wy !
While US-287, northwest of WestY, is dlc locked to Montana.
@rbsanford I think that the stub is avoided, by having US-287 and US-191 doing an U. Unless I am wrong about US-191 being in.
So to get the best of Yellowstone, one will need both Montana and Wyoming.
The part locked to both Montana and Wyoming DLC's are currently West Yellowstone towards Old Faithful and south Laurel to US-14. This regarding the roads that affects Yellowstone.

Ohh, there is a "GPS Avoid" setting in the map editor. Sweet!

werewoooooooolf , current usa.dds seems to be the same as in 1.41Beta, as far as I can see.

Thanks, Shiva! I was curious to get an idea on the number of marked cities to expect, but the map had other plans

I'm also curious to see how many truck dealers will be located and where. IRL most of them are restricted to the same few cities.

It is Jackson that pushes Moran to north.
I misspoke, I mean that that segment of road is pretty far northwest because Jackson to Moran was lengthened. So there's less room in-game for the space between West Yellowstone and Old Faithful as a result.

That map really isn't marked up to know anything. But there are a couple of threads where someone already looked thru the game files and found the potential marked cities. So we've know about them for awhile now.

I can't figure out why Shelby isn't mentioned anywhere?
I translate via Google Translate. Sometimes he does it badly. I beg understand and forgive. :geek:

^Agreed as it should be a marked city. Its along a road that is already planned in US-2 @ I-15. Unlike Cody, SCS doesn't have to go out the way to create it. I can almost guarantee that it will be scenic though. But it should be a small marked town. It has a truck stop at the end of I-15 (for Montana dlc) and its has like 3-4 worthy depots. Its not too close to either Kalispell nor Havre. I'd make Shelby another city considering it will already be there.
