:o There ya go. Good call.

But seeing I won't do WoT jobs anymore, I don't really give a cat's patooty what the speed limit is or isn't.

So, you have limited the speed to 90 km / h for everyone, but you have not limited the ability to turn off traffic fines and rest. Excellent level playing field for everyone, bravo ...

quick saves wont help you, did your truck get damaged WoTr will already have it registered before you can even act, same goes for roll over of the truck, you cant reverse it, even if you load a previous save from 5 minutes before the roll WoTr will roll you over again where you left it, the time ingame itself is irrelevant because WoTr uses real time anyway

also Europe has 90km/h everywhere without exceptions, UK might have 97 but the EU law overrules it (for now)
That's where it's now wrong though, UK left EU, and Romania/Bulgaria even have 100km/h I believe. I say, raise speed limiter to 105...

and the speed limit is still 90km/h because the manufacturer wont start to make 2 different system just because UK left now, also Romania and Bulgaria are EU members, so their speed limit for trucks are irrelevant, it is 90 for them also

No need for '2 systems', just dynamically limit truck speed based on GPS location...

Limit atm is 60 mph on dual carriage way but 50 mph on single cariage way
You gain a little to loose a lot in other places
Which is it?

speed limiter is stupid as a lot of the roads u can go 80mph but restricted to 65. so for WOTs a lot wont do the longer distance jobs as it takes a lot longer.

ETS 2 isnt so bad apart from UK with 60mph for trucks which is faster than the speed limiter allows but only by a few miles an hr and the black sea as some of those limits r even faster. upto 100kmh in some places but restricted to 90kmh. so thats not too bad. but still adds a few hrs onto a trip if its long distance.

Maybe it needs adaptive speed restrictors that change according to the speed limits on the road ur driving.

Could do with that on real vehicles in the real world as well lol. that might stop idiots from speeding if they fitted them on all cars by law and speed signs triggerd the speed limiter.

UK laws haven't changed they will continue to follow EU regulation and require limiters at 56mph max.

While the speed limit is 60 mph on motorways/dual carriageways it only applies to vehicles that are regulator exempt. If you're doing 60mph in the UK in your NG Scania 770S then you're breaking the law ;)

So yeah I have absolutely no issue with the WoTr speed limit for ETS2 as it's accurate and max legal limit in most places. ATS limits on the other hand... 🤨

The UK are making it mandatory from this year for all new cars (after July) to have limiters too. They actually considered having the limit recognise the road limits and match to it, many cars already have cameras that recognise limits and put a warning on the dashboard.
