Agreed, it'd be a shame to lose it in traffic when it exists in traffic IRL. Same with the old VNL when the new one comes.

If there's the Peterbilt Plant, we'll have a special dedicated blog, just like Kenworth when the Washington blogs were happening: https://blog.scssoft.com/2019/04/washin ... ctory.html

^That is a good point. I don't think Texas gets Peterbilt without such a blog. That is sooo blog worthy. We don't need NG for the plant but SCS would have to recognize the plant, I'd reckon.

Will we get 389, or is Paccar not betting on them already so that SCS can claim to implement it?
I translate via Google Translate. Sometimes he does it badly. I beg understand and forgive. :geek:

Where as I dont disagree that we dont need the NG, it would be very odd as that old one isnt what they currently manufacture, for the sake of realism at least. Idk its just odd for me to drive around in a '21 (insert truck) and see several year old petes "rolling of the line" lmao. Really I just wanna justify the need for the NG 😆

Peterbilt blog is a must, but understandable why they didn’t write it in the microsite.

I’m still not sure about NG’s addition though. All the effort in modeling the old one essentially suggests that NG isn’t ready yet or not being worked at all.

Like I said, the traffic model for the NG wouldn't be done yet, but the traffic model for the old one is in the game already. If the goal is to get Peterbilt trucks as cargo in time for Texas, then the old one would be the one you'd choose.

But at least that confirms that they are in some level of contact with Paccar/Pete. That’s something.

At least for the time being ya. I think and hope they would update the load once the NG was in traffic. I REALLY feel it is a missed opportunity if the NG doesnt come to players with TX. Sometimes sh*t just doesnt work out tho.
