No one except SCS knows when it'll be released. Could be in a week from now, could in 2 years. Since I never had and never will have a chance to interact with a real 389, the model that is in the game now, doesn't bother me too much and I use that truck whenever I want.

my bad lol it already came out. I don't play the game since it came out that's why haha I really want a brand new truck that's why I'm not playing it a lot. maybe someone knows why the peterbilt 579ng is produced with different types of hood? on one version with a vertical cut, on the other horizontal. As far as I can see, the ATS will be added with a vertical cut, which, by the way, does not look as harmonious as the horizontal one.

The bottom one is the short hood version, same story as her sister, T680 NG.
