[REL] Minor Urban Overhaul (12/01/2023)

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Some speed limit signs were changed to 75MPH limits (not physically, they still look like the proper speed limit but apply the traffic rules of a 75MPH sign instead) in the denser areas to make traffic overtake you more often and appear busier, and also kinda simulate the rampant speeding you get in urban freeways when it's free-flowing (which will pretty much be always the case in ATS). Not really needed anymore with the improved AI spawning system in 1.46 now, but I'll see if it'll be removed or kept.

Hey Quaristice, when do you estimate having having the high traffic areas update for the Texas map ready?

Mod updated (15.4), only for the full version for now.

• Small fixes to SCS signage errors in the Phoenix area.
• Very high traffic area in San Francisco's Embarcadero downgraded to just a high traffic area.
• Small scenery fixes in Reno and Barstow.
• Very high traffic areas added:
-Boise (I-84)
-El Paso
-DFW - San Antonio Corridor
-Houston Area

Map in the OP was finally updated also.

@Quaristice Many thanks for the continious mod support! This is much appreciated. One of my must have mods and great too see that you have an eye on Texas already. .

Two questions: 1. Does MUO 15.4 actively require Texas? 2. To make this compatible with Cip's traffic density mod, do I remove MUO's traffic data and spawn files, or the traffic density mod's traffic data and spawn files?

@RevanFan 1: I think it does. 2: I just put Cip's Traffic Density mod above MUO.

@Quaristice Thanks for the update, however I'm getting lag in parts of El Paso with your mod. I never had lag before with your mod in any high traffic area. 1080 Geforce GTX, 32 MB Ram, 4.2 Quadcore Intel i7 6700K CPU
