Kenworth T440 has a sleeper as well if that is criterion to add trucks in the game. Not only that, almost every trucks has sleeper options in North America.

Also in Europe vocational trucks has sleepers as well like Mercedes Arocs, DAF CF, MAN TGS etc. They even have 4x2 and 6x4 options yet they are not in ETS2. I give ETS2 example because almost every truck in Europe is in ETS2. Even with that they don't add vocational trucks. So it is not possible to see those in ATS as well.

They didn't make all sleeper variants. I think they approach this situation like ETS2 which is a huge mistake.

Not only W900, the T860 has 5 different sleeper option (76 inch high roof, 76 inch mid roof, 52 inch mid roof, 40 inch flat top and day cab) as well yet we saw 3 of them in the game.

What I found strange was that when the Kenworth W900 was added to the ATS, there was an 86-inch studio sleeper cab option in reality.

I wonder why they added 72-inch aero sleeper cab instead of flagship 86-inch studio sleeper cab. :)

Studio Sleeper is in production since, like, mid-2000s or even earlier. I want it really bad. Fitted on a slightly stretched chassis, lol.

I'd like to get 2 trucks per each brand and all the factory sleepers not in game yet before KW gets 3rd truck, and though W990's looks still have to grow on me, I'd rather get it then. It uses the same cab as T680 and T880, so we can have T680 refreshed and T880 will be a piece of cake to get in the game. Same with Peterbilt's 567-579 pair.

Prepare to be disappointed. SCS have not added a new cab to an existing truck in either game to this point and I don't expect them to start now.
The licensing and approvals are probably almost as complex as adding a new model as is the developer effort to make the model. (As it is a truck takes several person years of effort to complete, adding additional cabs only adds to that time.)

SCS have taken the approach of offering some flexibility of choice but are not attempting to provide all real life options.

the moment the basics are ingame making the other cab options is easy, Scania has just a lower cab, so just cut it, done, TGX has a smaller cab for the TGS, shrink it in the X axis and you are done, same goes for the Actros, US trucks would be even easier if the cab is just longer or wider, there is not much effort needed to add a new cab and we have seen the community do it already out of existing models, i just say all the P and G cabs for Scania, and i bet these kind of mods also exist for ATS where other cab options are added

The question is, is it worth SCS's effort to go through re-approvals etc?

ofc it is if they can get more content into the game, that is a no brainer, re-approvals got us the 8x4 chassis for ETS, re-approval got us the tuning DLCs for ETS and in the future most likely also for ATS, re-approval will get us also new Krone trailers and it gave us new accessories for the Schwarzmüller trailers

I voted W990 and T880. The C500 is mostly an off road truck. ATS is about road trucks.

I voted T800 and T880 because well, I find them more interesting then W990 and I really like that the T800 has been around just as long as the W900.

Hope to see the T800 someday, my favorite Kenworth.
