Re: Kenworth Trucks Discussion Thread
I've seen a couple chocolate trucks, too; T680s, IIRC, in Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory livery. They would make regular deliveries to the company's candy store in Canal Park, every Thursday at around 2 PM, like clockwork, with a 53' trailer pulled by a sleeper, all heavily decorated and branded with chocolate swirls and everything (kind of overkill for one relatively small store, but I guess going big and flashy like that is good advertising). I figured it would make a great photo to catch it at this intersection, but I never got the timing or conditions right; if we get a drivable Lake Avenue in the game I'll be able to nail it.

I wonder when we might expect W990 release. Among all the other trucks showcased during Christmas screen it seemed in somewhat later stage of production (except from Mack Pinnacle) compared to the rest. Hopefully by the end of the year it can come, because it is one of my favorite trucks that are still in production due to it being a perfect blend between classic and modern style.

Now if Kenworth just like other truck builders wanted to have an aerodynamic build, the T2000 was THE truck that had it.

Re: Kenworth Trucks Discussion Thread
We already have an aerodynamic build in the current T680, much more than the T2000.

Re: Kenworth Trucks Discussion Thread
The thing that I do like about both the T680 and the K200 is that Kenworth knows how to pay tribute to those who have gone before us. And two or three of those items are from 3 GM products. The dashboard really pays tribute on the T680 by having the driver side represent the GMC Brigadier and the passenger side of that same dash is partially designed to represent the GM fishbowl bus. The K200 has it's dashboard designed to represent the GMC Astro 95 and the Chevy Titan 90. The only other thing I don't like about the t680 is that there is no lower safety glass, although the W900 does have the safety glass. One thing I would love to see Kenworth add is a camera monitor system similar to what you would see in a security office at the grocery store and it would be mounted over head, above the center of the windshield. Two would monitor activity going on the passenger side of the truck such as traffic coming up and one that would be monitoring anything on the passenger side side skirt step and for a third monitor would be to get a very wide view out the back of the cab as those often can see not only even what is directly behind the cab when there is no trailer attached, but also the rear mounted camera would also be watching the trailer cables and also help the driver line his 5th wheel up with the trailer without having to worry about sticking his head out the window.
