Ah yeah, because "helicopters and airplanes" also drive on the same roads as the trucks do in the game, totally forgot about that...

Not sure why people have to be sarcastic about this. Like SCS wants to do cars and buses for their truck game...and? So what? Have you got nothing better to do other than criticizing? Your schedule too free perhaps, not swarmed in enough work? Like geez, get a life, their cars and buses announcement wasn't like a 1 year old announcement or something...

Re: Kenworth Trucks Discussion Thread
As a new mode for both games, they need to show off everything to catch the public attention. Imagine nobody outside of SCS knows nothing about Road Trip or buses, and suddenly they announce a Special Livetream in 2 days about it, little time to explain everything and people could be confused and not interested about them.
But it's funny if you compare how they show the new vehicles, while cars and buses are getting at least one blog at month showcasing them(with the models until now almost completed), and even SCS on the Road videos on sound recording; truck brands makes them sign a NDA and we see the truck only on it's 'ready' stage in game for us to play after an update. It's like the trucks are sorta a secret weapon from cold war and nobody could know about it and its secrets. Even old models like the W990 which only appeared on 2024 Christmas Stream. I mean, why so many secrets about it?

Re: Kenworth Trucks Discussion Thread
When it comes to aerodynamic Kenworth trucks (not just the ones from the poll), my top 6 picks are:
• Kenworth T2000
• Kenworth T600
• Kenworth T800
• Kenworth T700
• Kenworth T660
• Kenworth T880
But really, I'd love to see all of them!
Those are just the ones I would prioritise in terms of aerodynamic KWs at least.
The predecessors in the first group, and their successor models in the second.
With the first classics being announced (in the 2025 Christmas Stream) and most of the manufacturers' current model range
already being either in development or released for ATS, I am quite hopeful we'll be seeing more older models in the coming years.

I also don't understand how anyone can be so boring. I wrote this purely for humor and, at the same time, the absolute truth. No one is against news about buses, cars, ships, planes, helicopters, and bicycles! But! In a game about trucks, "TRUCK SIMULATOR," news about "TRUCKS" should predominate! predominate? At least there should be news ABOUT TRUCKS sometime, but we have not!TheAmir259 wrote: 19 Feb 2026 12:37 Not sure why people have to be sarcastic about this. Well, ETS2 has been getting a lot of truck related news, not us. I think that's because we are close to a huge announcement, or a bunch of them. The thing that is taking time is the rework of the interior materials. ALL trucks and vehicles are going to have it, so I think that's why it's taking so long.SergeyKenga wrote: 19 Feb 2026 19:58I also don't understand how anyone can be so boring. But the good thing is that since 1.58 came out so early, we are now closer to the 1.59 beta. I think that's when we are going to experience those new graphics, and after that we are going to have a bunch of truck releases. At least that's what I think. We should have some truck releases before RT.

One thing I wonder about the W990 they are working on : if we will get both the older analog dashboard (same as the T680 2014) and the newer digital dashboard (same as the newer T680)

Re: Kenworth Trucks Discussion Thread
I would like both
But knowing SCS, probably because it's the most recent version, they'll choose the one with the digital dashboard. Because in ETS2 there was the Iveco S-Way which had a version of analog dashboard which was the first version and they ended up opting for the recent version with digital dashboard, which was the recently version.
