Yeah, I wouldn't count on such surprises either. Digital version is the no-brainer here.

Most of the time they opt for whatever references they get in addition to the latest iteration of said model. So if they scanned an analog dashboard, chances are that it will make it to the game sooner or later.

However, for the 5th gen Cascadia we received an analog dashboard.

Yeah, nobody is going to do a head-to-head comparison and explain you. Figure it out yourself.

Great answer

The only way i see the W990 getting the analog dash is if they collected proper references to Rework the 2014 T680.

Edison recently leaked the new Kenworth C580, and Kenworth has now unveiled it at CONEXPO.
I think the new C580 looks extremely good.
At first, I thought Kenworth wanted to replace the C500 with the T880 (as Western Star did with the 6900 through the 49x).
The 580 would be my absolute dream truck for ATS, but I don't think we'll ever see it in the game.

I'm curious to see if Kenworth will update the W990 when the W900 is discontinued. I could imagine them making the hood more similar to the W900 and installing external air breathers again.

Pretty sure W990 was the replacement for the W900 but it0 was too popular to discontinue at the time.

That's right. But they could follow Peterbilt's way with the 589 and introduce a model with a new cab and hood in the classic W900 style.

Release a new W990 with the cab of the new T680?

It already has a new cab like the T680, I mean they could have made a classic hood, then maybe it would have been more popular.

Kenworth could add the full-size cab to the W990 to replace the equivalent on the W900, but that's speculation at this point
