I'm sure they said that on the blog so people don't get too excited and think it's coming next week or next month, SCS knows better, i refuse to believe they don't have a model of that truck in a very advanced state, SCS is just trying to keep the crowd under control.

You cannot believe everything they say. If you believe it was in the works, that's just you.
I always consider the possibility of some other truck slipping in between the expected models so I'm not really amused. But I REALLY want SCS to troll the crab out of everyone by bringing the F-Max out of nowhere.

Anything is possible with SCSoon.
Re: Volvo Trucks Discussion Thread
The facelifted version is out since 2018, 4 years passed ever since... It was anyone's guess but it was a long time of hiatus. WHO would have thought they didn't even started working on it... Go ahead and ask a bunch of people, a lot thought it was only logical the VNL would be the next in line. And what pours even more salt on the wound is that after reading the blog, the chances of seeing the NG 579 after the recent 57X drops to zero.

The development probably started back in May, when they went to Canada truck show and US. I remember we had a post about VNL sound recordings.
That could mean it's in the works for three months. They have something for sure but that is not something representative in current stage.
We have been able to see new MAN pics in representative stage back in December, and we still do not have it after eight months. So...
Eight months to reach representative stage and plus eight to ten months on top of that for final release. 18 months in total, from May 2022, I would say (just my opinion).

TRUCKER IN REAL LIFE THANKS TO SCS Soft (true story)
Re: Volvo Trucks Discussion Thread
Yes, the VNL is given the utmost priority even now. LT, 9900i and LoneStar should've been a part of a single negotiation hence they were right off the bat. 57X is synced anyway so now the spotlight is on that single truck many wanted SCS to add. I still don't see any difference.
But between that and the time VNL actually lands, anything might happen, even with the Paccars. Good if we get, fine if we don't.

Read the whole reply... What I meant was if the VNL is still this far out, imagine the NewGen Paccars.
