They should get a PS5 or an XBox, very easy to plugin and use
Gamers do need knowledge about ethernet, wifi, routers, internet connections, firewalls, AV software to go online though
But you can buy third party tech help in most countries to get it up and running, it's a one time investment

Your opinion and I disagree that most people don't care. Recent discussions about this topic in 1.39 Speculation thread also listed about graphical updates to the antiquated AA method that SCS is using.

I will keep driving home the point that the game should look good without needing extra steps.

taking the forum as an indication of what the player base wants is nonsensical and plain wrong, of the 2 million unique players each month that play only maybe 2000 people are really active here on the forum, so it says exactly nothing

How can you say that most people don't care about the flickering when you just proved otherwise that the majority of the players do not post here?

My point has been made. SCS should fix the visuals as there is a silent majority out there.

if people have nothing to complain they wont come here, only people who have something to say will do it, basic logic, why should i come here and write "wow, good game, no complaints" wich will bring nothing, people always take the ones complaining as the majority but dont count in the people who say nothing because they have nothing to complain, it is the same with mods, people think the game only exist because of mods, in reality only a fraction of people even use it and they dont keep the games afloat

the ratio positiv to negativ on steam also says everything 38:1

Oh so they only need to post here now if there is a problem? I disagree with this too.

I won't continue the back and forth however. You have your point of view, and I have mine.

-The game looks like trash! Lots of other users will agree with this post.
-The game looks awesome! A lot of users will agree with this too.

The ratio you mention is not specifically just for the graphics but the game as a whole.

Obviously SCS should fix it, but it's probably not so easy ;)

So SCS should fix something that the silent majority doesn't complain about? That is going to be very hard to do since they don't know what it is too fix if they don't speak up? Without them coming and posting issues they are having, nothing will be fixed for them I think. I think it would help tremendously to remove the wire fencing, and replace with something else.

Remove wire fencing?
Why not remove all cables?

Actually I don't have any issues at the moment with cables, the wire fencing is what is glaringly bad for me. I am still playing with settings to see if I can get that to minimize to an acceptable level.....:)
