They can update all they want, and nothing really changes for the better. And that's sad. Your examples would be great and easy as you say. But do you think it will ever happen?

Don't take it wrong, they have made improvements to a certain extent. But only to clean stuff up. Maps have been their biggest improvements only. And that's sad too.
Yeah, the maps need some work themselves. When I drive through Reforma I-80, it's like playing a different game. The curves are banked and smooth; the exits are long and give time to stop. The truck is flowing with the road, not turning hither and yond. The latest SCS maps are getting better, but they aren't there yet.

As for features, Pavel might talk about something on Tuesday. I'm eager to hear what he says. In the meantime, I'm playing a game with trucks that feel proper and a walk mode that didn't require a game rework.

I'd like to be home to catch Pavel online and hear what he has to say. I've got an appointment to get the front end on my Jeep GC aligned at 1:30pm est.

I've said that SCS needs to use Google Earth to see what is real over here for their maps. Not just make up what they want, or think is correct.

I offered one of the guys help for his New England map mod and what's really needed for highways, towns, and cities. I've driven all over New York and New England so much I can still see it all in my sleep. LOL I just wish the GM plants were still around, but they're all gone now. Still, where they were we could use them for car haul in ATS to dealerships. Not all of them but maybe one per city

I've hauled ass down the road to deliver new cars and trucks, fuel, freight, and produce. Now I'm addicted to ATS doing the same thing in a simulation.

Well, an industry focus needs to replace the current scenery focus. Otherwise, we'll continue to drive by businesses while delivering to the same old, tired prefabs.

My legs are numb from 8 years of driving. I put yes. It's strange that this topic is not discussed every day to trigger developers. :D

Discussing it every day doesn't reduce the large amount of work required for this to be implemented well. And it's that large workload that keeps it low enough on SCS's priority list that it doesn't look like it will happen any time soon.
