It Looks Possible. On the far-right side of the Oklahoma header on wot it looks like a Low-Level Mesocyclone, or a tornado at least looks like the clouds are rotating.

I think that's probably more of an artistic choice. "Clear skies ahead on Route 66"

Hmmm. I just now really got a chance to really check out that Oklahoma header. I won't get my hopes up to much right now but if a weather upgrade is coming with Oklahoma, that would be fantastic. It didn't see the lighting in the background. Now if anything can remotely resemble volumetric or a second set of clouds rolling in for storms, that would be a nice overly in the sky. Perhaps SCS is playing around with filtering more than just on dirt on trucks. If the sky itself can be....lets say a huge filter, then that might be the best volumetric experience Prism can deliver. To match the upgrade though, I'm crossing my fingers for standing water, mud puddles and an overall pretty good weathering system for the entire environment. That includes all vehicles that run on ATS/ETS2 streets. If SCS can get to perhaps 70% of what dirt on vehicles does for Snowrunner, I'd be pretty content with that.

That give us from now til Summer though to see if Oklahoma brings an all new weather system.

Maybe the skybox will rotate really fast like it does at times. :D

Or maybe they did the skybox just for the image, or downloaded the mod or something. I do believe that we don't have capability with the current engine.

Yeah, it's probably a photoshopped image or a custom sky box.

@LondonLad might be throwing out a teaser with this quote: "But be sure to arrive in time if you planning on sleeping overnight, these trucks stops can get pretty busy and you may struggle to find a parking spot."

Maybe, just maybe this is leading to an ai rework that has long been requested or will this just be idle words that will never come to fruition?

In Texas they have already started increasing the number of trucks at the truck stops.
