Oklahoma Discussion Thread
Re: Oklahoma Discussion Thread
Regarding the Paris road, from Longview.
https://www.google.com/maps/dir/33.1646 ... m2!4m1!3e0
Ellison Creek Reservoir, can be seen from the road. US-257.
scenery road FM557, US-257.
What looks like US-67 west of, Mt Pleasant.
Regarding Texarkana.
US-57, ends just north of McCartney Bridge, Queen City, Texas, USA.
Until it ends, it looks, complete. The sector north of it, is no longer ingame.
I think it will be driveable to Texarkana, in 1.48. Unless Texarkana gets delayed.
flight50, the H5 construction, is this https://www.google.com/maps/@32.9216366 ... a=!3m1!1e3

Gotcha. I'm looking out the window at that exact location as I read this. They only deal with gravel, sand and concrete there though. That means we get service roads for the High 5. That's the only way to access it. You can somewhat see the big pile of gravel/dirt beyond the ramps for US-75.

Re: Oklahoma Discussion Thread
voo50, Your window is really panoramic for the high five. Wow!
Re: Oklahoma Discussion Thread
lol. Well if you stitch in more of it, it can be panoramic, lol. If SCS did this thing 1:1, it would be equal to the size of a small city. It can eat up some serious space. So whatever they go it, is appreciated.

One thing for sure is that it will be pretty sweet to continue North into Oklahoma on US-75 passing the High 5 along with I-35. The one road that I'm really looking forward to though is one of the overlay road that was found which is US-259. Consider Idabel was blogged not to long ago, US-259 is a lock.

Re: Oklahoma Discussion Thread
If these are overlays and not road signs, then this is interesting:AbsoTheFox wrote: ↑14 Mar 2023 17:15 I saw in the editor that overlays have been found for OK-3, OK-259a, OK-375, OK-7, and OK-136.
There's also I-244 in there as well.
OK-3 is concurrent with other roads for most of its run, so not sure where the overlay would be used. Maybe Ada to Atoka? Not sure. It is its own road northwest of OKC but I'd be surprised to get that segment. Or maybe they're going back to the Wyoming style of marking concurrences on the world map. Who knows.
OK-259a is in Beavers Bend State Park off of US-259, which is a blog topic on the microsite.
OK-375 is the Indian Nation Turnpike which has already been confirmed
OK-7 connects Lawton with the Chickasaw Turnpike, that's a sleeper road I really wanted to see so hopefully this means it will come.
OK-136 runs north-south across the panhandle through Guymon. Again not sure we would be getting the non-concurrent segment so I don't know what to think about this one.
@AbsoTheFox Are you sure these are overlays and not signs?

SuchManor just double confirmed it in the other thread (don't want to reopen the editor to screenshot it again, but yes, I made sure to check whether they are overlays and not signs.oldmanclippy wrote: ↑14 Mar 2023 23:01If these are overlays and not road signs, then this is interesting:AbsoTheFox wrote: ↑14 Mar 2023 17:15 I saw in the editor that overlays have been found for OK-3, OK-259a, OK-375, OK-7, and OK-136.

Re: Oklahoma Discussion Thread
flight50, the building you took the photo from, it is not ingame, yet.
It has placeholders for 3 of the higher buildings.
H5 itself, the levels we wont access, are suitable for cars and trucks. But it might be a bit flatter than IRL?
Or is it?
I did a test drive with my Volvo. And it did have a foot or one and a half clearance.

Here is a list of all Oklahoma Active Cotton Gins but non of them fits Pic 1 on my views.
I also checked most of the grain elevators, farms, etc. but I had a hard time finding something suitable. Maybe this one:
Pic 2 could be here at Humphreys Co-Op in Altus
