@Trucker Nik . And that's what I actually do, lol. I'm always checking out truck model diversity, truck cargo and company brands on the trailers. I have to catch myself a lot when I'm suppose to be working, lol. If SCS models my building that would be the closest building to my daily routine in ATS I can get. I use to work in an even taller builder just outside downtown Dallas. That building might not make the game when Texas 2.0 releases though.

When Texas 2.0 does come, for sure it will be the Oklahoma compatibility update. We should be able to look into Oklahoma a little with the dev cam to confirm all the road connections. I'm going with at least 10-11 connections into Oklahoma from Texas.

1. US-412 from US-87
2. US-385/US-287 from Dalhart
3. US-54 from Dalhart
4. US-83 from US-287
5. US-60 from US-83
6. I-40 from Amarillo
7. I-44 from Wichita Falls
8. I-35 from Dallas
9. US-75 from Dallas
10. US-271 from Paris
11. US-259 from Longview

Alternate possibilities - US-183 and US-62. Both Oklahoma and Kansas will be some really good complements to Texas and Colorado.

Given we've seen so much of Altus, I think it would make a lot of sense to continue US-62 over to US-83.

With US-183, I don't think the intersection at Oklaunion is modeled, right? In which case I doubt that is in their plans. But it could reappear in Oklahoma.

Oklaunion, they can always revise and include a junction like they always do. I never rule out a new junction getting added despite it not currently shown. The most recent was I-25 @ US-87 to get from I-25 to Dalhart in Raton, NM. Plans can always change. If they tweak US-287 at Oklaunion, they can bring more of US-70 which runs concurrent with US-183. Between 83,183 and 283, I'm routing to see 83 and 183 run their course deep into the North. I do like the density we could get with US-287, US-183/US-70, I-44, US-62 and US-83/US-62. There's a lot of connections that can come off US-287 and US-82 the entire stretch of the Red River.

I-25 @ US-87 is a bit different. New Mexico came out 5 years before Texas. Oklahoma is following right behind Texas so there is no reason to expect they didn't plan ahead for the very next DLC. Unless it was just a mistake and they forgot the intersection.

I really don't think time matters. At least not for me. If they want to add a road connection, there's nothing saying they can't if there's no major reworks required. Whether its 10 years from now or yesterday. I never consider any part of the map set in stone regards of age. Planning ahead does minimize this but things can still always change. Until the Oklahoma road map is revealed, there's day one options. I'm looking forward to as many as possible these main North to South US hwys that stretch as far as they can to get in road density as well as alternates for the detours feature. I have detours deactivated as it was before it time with ATS. The GP states are good for detours if we can get density going. I'd like to see something between I-44 (Wichita Falls) and US-83 (Childress) reach I-40 in Oklahoma and beyond so I'll keep fingers crossed for US-183.

I more so meant I just doubt that the Texas team wasn't communicating with the people in charge of determining Oklahoma's road network. You'd think that Simon's team knew the roads that they needed to set up for Oklahoma plenty in advance of release. But maybe not, or maybe minds were changed, or maybe they made a mistake, etc.

They all definitely coordinate. They don't have a choice. It's part of planning though. Trust me they coordinate. How well they plan is on them. Otherwise fans will say something when the dlc releases. So far the biggest miss is Sandpoint to Coleville. Maybe once the base map team is caught up and has a spare mapper, the older dlc's can get attention.

US-183 isn't critical but it would be great to get all possible roads to give the GP states and beyond, plenty of density.

So we might get 287 all the way to Lamar finally?
