Yeah there's a lot of scenic depots along that road that came with Montana. If they had made those deliverable with Wyoming assigned to Gillette then there wouldn't be an issue. I see Miami the same way. Either we get depots now with Oklahoma assigned to e.g. Tulsa or we get them scenic on the road to Kansas.

I can agree that if we don't get anything remote in Miami, its all scenic en route to Kansas. I'm trying to find more reasons to use the new reworked dumper trailers but with limitations, I don't bother just like the flatbeds. To get those quarries, its a nice drive to the furthest we can go on I-44 perhaps all the was to Wichita Falls. If we are coming from Idabel, that is a very nice scenic route from border to border basically. It could even bee a cool ride from Guymon to those quarries. All good chances to explore the furthest corner to the other.

Based on this signage at the northern end of the Will Rodgers turnpike in Miami, do/will Oklahoma Turnpikes have distanced based tolling?

Are far as I can tell, all turnpikes in Oklahoma use ticketed tolls (but do the toll plazas that are on-turnpike charge one-offs in addition to the distance based ones when entering and exiting? idk), meaning that the toll is paid based on the distance you travel on the turnpike, and not just a one time flat fee as you pass a booth. I'm also pretty sure that the tolls in the Bay Area charge per axle so that functionality is in the game already. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Turnpikes are the thing that will make Oklahoma stand out the most compared to previous states. Right now the only toll roads outside of a national park are the aforementioned ones in the Bay Area.
Similar to our conversation about PikePass a while ago, here's an interesting example on I-44 Turner Turnpike where cash has to exit the main lanes of traffic while PikePass users continue on. https://www.google.com/maps/@35.7687596 ... 384!8i8192 This seems to be a common setup on I-44.
Between the big toll plazas on the turnpikes and the smaller toll booths off the turnpikes we will be paying a lot of tolls in OK, lol
