Which area in ETS2 should be reworked next ?

If the scs will confirm in 2022 that they work on a reworked UK, it could come in early 2023 and we could start speculating that the map DLC in 2023/2024 after Balkans (not yet officially confirmed that after HoR) would be Ireland or Ireland + Iceland in one DLC called European Islands but I'm already speculating in the distant future since we don't have HoR or a trailer for map DLC after HoR yet

I’m thinking France could be looked at to update certain areas and add scenery towns.

I highly doubt the UK is gonna be done anytime soon. Unless Ireland comes out theres really no need for the rework. I personally avoid it unless im using promods.

@polskagrom I think the UK can be reworked before Ireland arrives, just as Austria will be reworked now before the arrival of the Balkan DLC

It must be the North of the Scandinavian countries, that "map" has looked the same since that "Euro Truck Simulator" came out on the market - and thats years ago!! Thats a real SHAME for a Euro game!!!

It would be super interesting if we drive with snow and the midnight sun is included in Norway.

That topic is NOT to talk about places you want to be added; it's about places that already are in the game and we would like them to be modeled again in better quality and realism

Not even close. Scandinavia is miles ahead of (old) base map, and GE for that matter. I remember entering Denmark when it came out and going woah every five minutes.
But then, all later dlcs are also miles ahead of Scandinavia, so there's that. So if anything, this one should come last.

I would love to see Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Switzerland, and the non-DLC parts of France (other than Lyon) get a redo.

I would also love to see the Going East DLC get some attention as well, as it is now surrounded by areas of higher quality such as Germany, The Balkans, and the Baltic area. Oh, and a rebuilt Austria in the near future to boot.

I was astonished with the work they showed with the Austria rework. Can't wait to see what they can do with Switzerland
