Dang, 4 Kansas blogs already that's awesome. This is good news for those hoping for 3 maps this year. Not conclusive evidence by any means, but good news.

A couple years ago when I used to do my prediction maps on paper, I did have K-156 connecting Great Bend with I-70 as part of a flow through from Boise City to Dodge City to Great Bend to Salnia. This exit being in-game doesn't mean we will get that road (there is a conveniently placed gas station there after all), but it does get me thinking.

My vote for Pic 9 is Ellsworth Rest Area Westbound on I-70 https://www.google.com/maps/place/Ellsw ... kj4d?hl=en but it's hard to tell because Kansas builds their rest areas pretty uniformly it seems. It does have the matching stakes/pegs in the ground by the loop part on the right, though.

Fun fact: the Bazaar Cattle Pens are near the highest point of I-35, which has an elevation of about 1580 feet.

Handy maps and diagrams.

Furthermore, I consider that I-80 across Nevada must be redone next.

Agreed and the Great Plains is the exact reason I always keep saying the mapping will go faster in the Great Plains. With the current experience of the map team, they should sweep thru the Great Plains pretty quickly. 10 months max for each state if they come solo. Another reason to go ahead and just knock out the entire column of states above Texas. Nebraska, South Dakota and North Dakota is more of the same. People expecting different should probably check Google Maps in like 1,000 places and see that its all pretty relatively the same. SCS is only mapping what Google Maps show. The US is not cultural diversity like Europe so each state...each city..each town.......can easily resemble another.

Today's blog pics are pretty basic though. Not much special but I don't think it intended to be with the pics we got. They are all open plains which will be quite similar to what we've see before. Some of the blog comments today are just off the charts childish though. Its sad how certain individuals don't see how pathetic they make themselves look with their comments.

One thing I can say that's a plus is how much more depth off the road the maps have been looking since the 2016 days. Terrains don't have to be jaw dropping graphics but at least we have depth. The new renderer coming will improve graphics a little but still, we don't need high end stuff for this $20 base game.

Pic 8 is most probably on the I-70 near Manhattan

Pic 10 is Exit 225 on the I-70 near Ellsworth (too late, but at least confirms the find of @ASUSTechSupport )

Pic 16 is probably one of these three spots:
1. I-70 near Cambria
2. I-70 near Solomon

...but, @Bedavd, I'm pretty sure you can mark this one for Pic 16. I haven't found a location which is closer to the Pic than this:
3. I-70 near Chapman

No all of I-35. Which makes sense, it travels through low elevation areas, and Kansas is where I-35 gets closest to the Rocky Mountain front.
