I was thinking that it would be a new cargo for the new Trash and recycling industries that supposedly will come with Montana. Cardboard bales from recycling plants to carboard products manufacturers.
Also potentially plastic bales or crushed plastic, crushed glass,...

It's nice to see a visual model of the cargo for open deck trailers, but hopefully this doesn't make it so used packaging is like 80% of the cargo market for owned flatbeds. Used packaging and empty pallets are far too common in the game right now.

to be the mellow one, until there is some sort of supply and demand system integrated into the game world, it really dosent matter what we haul other than in our minds, and visiual if the trailer is open deck and we play in camera 2 position.

@supersobes Especially on WoT contracts. Probably 65-70% of all cargoes are trash for recycling. Also those type of cargoes should only be regional. I doubt someone transport that kind of stuff more than 500 km in real life. Longer transports will definitely go by train or boat ;)

Recyclable packaging is cheap, and and has a low density and no one will pay alot of money to transport it for long distances on a semitruck, the cargo logic has been discussed a lot and nqy bug reports were made, hopefully SCS will remake it one day.

Imagine having a ban list for cargoes, so you can never see it in the market. :D

I kinda banned Used Packaging and Empty Pallets... From my standards. I haven't taken one of those since mid 2020 or something I think. It might be the longest contract of some city but I'll never take one of those ever again.

My favourite thing is when I spend three in-game days bringing empty pallets to a place from 2,000 miles away just to find out the place I just delivered to is also sending out empty pallets. :?

Sounds like some odd version of planned economy from the Stalin era. Keep people busy so there's no chance of trouble

Cargo variety leaves a lot to be desired tbh. I pull a flatbed a lot in ATS, hauling the exact same steel coils, pressure tanks, lumber, plows and what not gets old.
