Guys, relax I was just joking last time with that fake link it will never happen again I didn't have the intention to troll or something else. Since Beny posted that I think it's for WB and it will be finished next week my bet is the 2nd or 3rd of June.

I would go with Texas and a Mid-Summer release (July at the earliest).

Western Balkans I would say absolutely not, I wouldn't even expect that this year let alone this Summer.

Can't rule out Montana, but I would say it's a long shot.

I would like to know at least in which quarter Montana and Texas will come out. It would be nice to get two DLCs this year, in the absence of HoR.

The main thing is how long does it take for a map DLC to get started, till it has areas completed at an appropriate level for them to be featured in a DLC video?
Considering HoR was completed about the end of February, I would guess "Western Balkans" would take quite some time to reach such a level.

It hurts lol but we have to come to terms with minimal ETS2 content for the foreseeable future. I don't expect much this summer apart from the new MAN truck.

Well, Benny clearly said: "I started works on new DLC Map trailer." This can be related to any game. It could be for example, the teaser trailer for the Balkan DLC. In Road to the Black Sea we had a teaser trailer with the official announcement.

Very late usually. Most likely about the time they start pushing it through to internal testers.

HoR was definitely not complete in February though. If it was it would have been in testing with us before that thing happened.

In truth I think 1.44 was released on schedule as planned and HoR would have been released this past week or next week. I think they intentionally brought forward Renault DLC to cover what should have been HoR release. But that's purely speculation of course.

Well even less chances for it to be the Western Balkans DLC then. As I equally enjoy ATS, having Montana or Texas coming up is really good.

I don't know if anyone feels the same way but at the moment it hurts me more that parts of the ETS map are so evidently old than not having a new map dlc.
There are whole countries that I avoid driving through and even France has started to look a bit of different quality.
I wish we would get some more reworks sooner but that's impossible to happen.

Maybe an easier workaround would be an update to vegetation and crop textures as that's what mostly gives it away. The fields in Poland for example look really dated.

it was more then logical that the tweet has nothing to do with Western Balkans DLC, it is far away from even teasing map parts of it

Yeah, crossing from Austria to old map is really kind of awkward
