I'm hopping for Nasa cargos too, but i don't know what to expect because I don't know what kind of facilities Nasa have in Texas, I think most of them are for training and the famous Mission control in Houston, so probably not any spectacular oversize rocket cargo, and SpaceX is still unknow if they will continue testing from the Bocachica Starbase, I think they have a rocket engine test facility also in Austin.

This is pretty unique in the states, I've only seen it in real life in Las Vegas, same example that Vinnie gave. But it's very common for green street signs to be placed on bridges above freeways, like this in Saint Paul:Some newbie driver wrote: ↑19 May 2022 17:14 One detail I want to ask, those street names under the bridges that go over the main highway in some images. That's something usual in the states? Kinda interesting way to locate yourself on the general zone of a city when on a highway.

For some reason my mind is completely blanking on whether or not these are implemented in ATS right now or not. Part of me thinks Seattle has them but now I can't remember for sure.

Thanks for the examples oldmanclippy and Vinnie Terranova.
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
It's not super common in Texas, but it does happen periodically, with varying degrees of effort.
Interstate 45 North of Houston

I-35 South of Austin

That said, one thing that SHOULD be on almost EVERY overpass in Texas, and even some flyover supports, is a clearance sign. I've seen little yellow signs designating even ridiculous clearances of over 22 feet.
The displayed overpasses may not have them because it's a set of like 5 overpasses in immediate sequence, but most should, statewide.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
I recall seeing it in ATS. There are a number of bridges in ATS that name the road, railroad, and/or river that it goes over/under.oldmanclippy wrote: ↑19 May 2022 19:28 For some reason my mind is completely blanking on whether or not these are implemented in ATS right now or not.
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
@Sora Any bridge 20 feet or less must have signage, over that it’s seemingly just up to how TxDOT is feeling that day lol. But that’s pretty true for every state.
