We already had Cali stream last Tuesday with Jakub (The guy in charge of the rework), so there is a possibility the DLC could come out on Thursday but I don't know.... SCS has been holding it for so long that I don't know what to think anymore.

I hope that on the Austria Stream tomorrow, at least we have official confirmation that the team is already working in the next country, which of course is obvious, but it will be interesting to come from them.

Horrible low-res textures, I've spend some times trying to improve them but it's not as great as it should be. Look at the tacho, the pedals, the roof lamps above dash and many others like them. I like that truck too. :)

Think that there is a possibility that Belarus will add to the HoR scs and rename this DLC, Pavel confirmed that the DLC is renamed in an interview about the postponement of the HoR

I would disagree, simply because of the low resolution dashboards on both of these trucks.

In my opinion, the best quality truck for ATS is the Cascadia, and for ETS2, the 2016 Scania, despite the many missing details.

dsf.fernando wrote: 16 May 2022 10:55 Is this partnership also extendable to the US?
I'm not sure on that one. Though I would think it doesn't since Navistar/International keep mentioning Canada specifically. There are probably some weird laws and regulations that would make this in the US more difficult than in Canada.

gt379 wrote: 16 May 2022 12:55 @supersobes In one of the stream from SCS (last month), I believe I heard there would be a World of Truck event for the reworked Austria in ETS2... ; don't quote me on that but I would not write that if I did not hear that...
An Austria event would be pretty neat. Though if that was the case, wouldn't it have made sense for the event to start the same day 1.44 released?

Although I think Belarus would greatly improve the map shape that HoR would have introduced, don't expect them to expand their indefinitely postponed DLC for zero additional revenue, lots of additional costs, and even more controversy. It would be idiotic to keep adding more to a map that might never see the light of day. I'm sure they polished up HoR and finished what was planned so that in the future they will be able to release it if and when the time is right.

They could reuse most assets from HoR DLC and just take some time to do unique ones belarus would require, that compared to the effort of remaking a country in the base map, i could see it coming out that way.

But then in which DLC Moldova and Ukraine would fit in? It's own after the speculated Western Balkans?
