I'd rather have this feature: when you discover an unmarked town, it becomes visible on the world map.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Isn't a city intro that you can watch whenever you want the same as the viewpoint cutscenes feature that already exists?
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
To me it sounds just like the viewpoints yeah. One one hand I think city intros would be cool, on the other hand we already have a few viewpoints that basically show a city, so they would be obsolete.
While driving? No thanks!Maybe city intros come up when you discover a city for the first time (if that's not tautology).
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
They could add a normal viewpoint to every city and show that when you begin a new profile. This way everybody can see them, not only new players/new profile makers.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
I would suggest a cut-scene location in every city with those intros so they could be seen by anybody at wish.
Another possibility would be the first time we stopped the engine on a recently discovered city, that intro could be triggered as like a "welcome to xxx city" (instead of a single time "welcome to the game").

What is the difference between Paper Liner and Profi Liner?
I compared them in the game but I didn't find anything, nor is there a difference in the technical data

Kind of like the idea. Maybe an icon similar to viewpoints but when activated it gives you a page on the history of the city, or interesting facts. Those who want to see it can activate it, ones who don't won't.

IRL the Paper Liner has a different chassis structure and internal additions to handle big paper rolls. Game-wise, there's no difference.Virtual Trucker 51 wrote: ↑29 Jun 2022 18:59What is the difference between Paper Liner and Profi Liner?

I have long wanted to say that, AI trains sound in ETS2 is too loud, in ATS it's quieter and it's better.
