Double M wrote: 03 Oct 2022 17:26 Another question I have is how do you assign the keys for the functions of the game. Because my keyboard is starting to fall short to assign keys to the new functions that are appearing and that it has 105 keys.
Hello to you!,

Not every line of the "key assignment" section needs to have an assigned keyboard button. There are many actions that you probably don't use at all and these can be unassigned and this is how you free up keyboard buttons for the stuff that you actually use.

You state that you use a g29; well, already you can unassign the up / down / left / right arrow keys!

Another example: assistant action 1, 2, 3, etc... unassign all that, also the cameras that you never use or the route advisor page buttons, etc... so many can be unassigned.

Just check what you don't use and unassign that's my tip!

No, but that's actually a fair point. I've seen someone with a gamepad mounted on the side of the wheel to use as button console for OMSI. Meanwhile, gamepad support for SCS games is mediocre at best - I can't pick my dualshock from ingame settings, everything has to be done from the steam input config, and even though I technically can assign whatever I need, it's a chore.

Personally I prefer to do everything from Steam Input, although I use a Steam Controller so maybe that makes it easier IDK.

I can pretty much do everything I need to from the gamepad, thanks to chorded button maps. The only thing I use a M+K for is the Photo Mode which doesn't play nice with Steam Input. But even then I can still use the gamepad as a mouse to hit the movement buttons on photo mode so I can do it it's just tedious.

I can even spare some inputs for playing and pausing Windows audio, which is nice because for ATS I'll sometimes have western music on Spotify and for ETS2 I'll sometimes have BBC Radio on.

Maybe it's "ScandinaviA" but I think it has to do something with the anniversary, most probably free DLC.

P.S. It might be only initials for Special Anniversary.

Special Anniversary to me makes more sense than any other name.

But why it's a DLC and not incuded in the base game if it would be something free for the anniversary?

Truck probably?? The last one was a DLC, I don't see a reason why the next shouldn't.

DLC is not associated to paid, just letting you know ;)
DLC means downloadable content. DLC can be free or paid.
